Very clean and perfect location
Pros:

Perfect location, spotless clean, helpful staff, it is more like a motel so keep the expectation as such but very good from cleaning perspective, number of towels, pillows etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Choose a room with balcony, it makes the difference. Ground floor rooms are just at the parking lot and some next to laundry so if you book balcony ans higher floors ypu aill love it.

Cons:

The pipes were having some issue so the noise was a bit too much, the floor in the room is a bit uneven but not a big deal. Overall a good price/performance choice in torrance.

Cons:

The manager refused to give deposit back until I video taped the room was left in proper condition, meaning no violation. When the Maid Sandra let me back inside the room to video tape the room was left in proper order and no rules were violated. The maid Sandra lied and said she saw cigarettes ashes in order to keep my deposit. I recorded the conversation on my I phone and took pics , when I informed them , the Manager n Sandra the maid . the Manager then threatened to not give my Deposit back, I called my bank and informed them of the possible fraudulent a activity with $50 deposit, the bank said they charged me $170 , no $120 , so I went back in to inform the manager and get get receipt for deposit n credit for deposit as well Manage refused to supply document for deposit nor refund . Horrible experience. Also the room carpet 224 was soaking wet at the entry uoto 4ft into the room from an adjacent flood of water coming from another room. I called Corporate Howard Johnson to report fraudulent practices as well .

I won’t stay there again because of the carpet & lack of breakfast options.
Pros:

The only good thing at breakfast was the coffee. The beds and bathroom was clean.

Cons:

The carpet in room 203 was old & dirty. We had black stuff come off our feet. The carpet should be replaced. Eggs & bacon should be added.
