I am completing an eleven day stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Victoria.
During that time, 8th Floor Room Attendant Maricica consistently provided excellent service to me. This started from the moment I arrived on the 8th floor and Maricica insisted (politely) on carrying my bag into my room. She immediately responded to requests throughout my stay in the nicest way. My room was always in spotless and neat condition. I am not adequately describing her helpfulness whenever needed.
Maricica deserves to be commended for her excellent work and for making this guest feel welcome and appreciated.

I recently visited London for the first time with friends and I was hesitant about booking a hotel, but settled on this doubletree Hilton location based on price and location.
The hotel sits behind the transit system which is not the prettiest but it is very convenient. Most of the main attractions that we wanted to visits were very close walking distance which we loved including Buckingham palace. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly.
There is a restaurant in the hotel and we had pizza. It wasn’t great but we got in late and I guess they did not offer all of the toppings late night. So the only option was cheese.
One bonus is in the morning I was greeted with the biggest smile by a beautiful housekeeper name Maricica. She was not only friendly but very accommodating and made our stay even more special.
Location perfect, staff helpful , concierge had little knowledge off tube to take to theater , and send us in the wrong direction, 25 min walk to get to the teater . Hitel perfect for our needs ,

Location is fantastic: tube, rail and coach station literally across the road.
Staff: everyone was attentive and nice.
Cleanliness: no concerns.
AC worked well.
Our room faced the station, but it wasn't noisy at all, since there were 4 layers of double-glazing.
I'd stay again, but would not have breakfast here.
Breakfast: limited options, bread/pastries were not fresh, eggs were dry, waffles were the type you buy frozen.
The room was good, but you notice it's time for a renovation (metalwork in the bathroom is rusty, mildew in the shower etc.).

Awesome place with excellent customer service. Enjoyed my full English breakfasts. Diam the concierge was fabulous. Durmaya Ung (not sure about surname) made sure I returned each evening to an impeccably clean room. I would stay here again.
