We have stsyed here before, i like the location since it's close to NAU. The breakfast are always good and the staff is friendly.
I do have a complaint, on our way out of the room, the door slammed on my hand. It left my hand very bruised, but did require any medical attention. The door is very heavy closes rather quickly. We did share this information with the front desk when we were checking out.
Beds were clean snd comfortable. Bathroom was old and small.
Carpet in rooms seemed very dirty
I loved the location. Staff was outstanding.
The property is undergoing renovation. That being said it was not up to Embassy Suites standards. My room really needed a deep clean. The carpet was lumpy in areas, the furniture was stained, extra blanket and pillow in closet were not clean, definitely need newer mattress. I have a pet and would use stairwell for easy exit and entrance. Garbage that was there first day was still there last day. I was disappointed in my room.
I should have listened to these other reviews. This hotel, as expensive as it was to book, is a complete dump. The walls are so thin I can hear the baby crying in the room next door. The rooms and hallways stink like fish. It’s disgusting honestly. Don’t stay here!
I gave it a 2 because the staff was decent. The hotel itself needs help. The room was dingy to say the least. We stayed in a 2 room suite, 1 room had a king and the other 2 queens. The living room area was awful, the couch cushions were split open and the stuffing sticking out. The basboads were missing in some places and the wet bar well, had so many layers of the same awful paint the vanities do that it looked like there is no care to the upkeep. One bathroom had a broken shower curtain rod. The furniture in the bedrooms including the desk chair is just tired. The place just didn't seem clean . We got in so late that we didn't even fight it. Then got up and out. There was also a big air handler above the sink area in the room with the king.. It was going all night, never shut off and was not quiet.
A semi positive note, the fireplace and deciore around it was nice. The breakfast was decent but, again the furniture in the dining area looked like it came from the workers break room.
on the website said the pool was open . and it wasn't that was one of the reasons why i pick stay at the embassy suits i had my grandkids with me and told them that we can going swimming once we got there. and it was a let down for them and for me.
On the 4th of July, we were put it a room with no air conditioning. There were no screens on the window and we were unable to open a window due to a fire in Sedona. This room had a small refrigerator with no freezer. Not even a plate in the microwave to put food on to heat the up food up. No plates or silverware. No screens on the windows. There was no way we could stay in that room.
We asked to be moved to another room. The receptionist was apologetic and helpful. This room was a little better, at least it had air conditioning. The couch was stained and dirty. The room needed a good vacuum. Atleast, the sheets were cleaned.
After checking in and getting settled, we went to the bar for happy hour. We received 2 drinks of our choice with snacks. The bartender was great.
At breakfast we were able to order an omelette of our choice. Which I really enjoyed. .
We are Hilton Diamond members and are used to better quality than what we received.
It’s near homeless people!! I wasted money booking this hotel just to not stay here cuz it seems unsafe. Also looked at other reviews on how DIRTY it is. Heck no!
The location and the staff
The carpet in the room was very dirty and sticky. It needs to be professionally cleaned. There were stains all over the place. It smelt a bit like smoke. The phones in the room didn’t work. There was no way to connect with room service.
I wish I had checked reviews before booking this hotel. Picked it because it was a Hilton flag. We checked in last night and ended up staying the night because we were exhausted, but checked out two days and rebooked somewhere else. This was probably one of my worst hotel stays ever. The room smelled so strongly of bleach that it burned our eyes and throats when we walked in, the carpets were dirty, there were dog paw prints on the inside of the bathroom door, there were mold/dirt particles blowing out of the vent in the bedroom and the switch for he light on the wall in the bedroom was broken and would not turn off. On top of all that, we chose this hotel because it had an outdoor pool. Which is closed for "renovations". The only positive thing about our stay was the service we received from Bella at the front desk. Very disappointing experience.
The location and the staff.
Dated, dirty, lumpy beds and pillows. LOUD air conditioning that vibrated the entire room.
