Ideal location for me. Room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

The towel rail was very close to the wash hand basin and too close to one’s body. I was disturbed at around 9.50 am with a member of staff opening my door.

Not a great first impression with lift out of order ,but staff could use it with guests? Not really a great ad for health n safety 😕 Executive Room :very poor standard, could to with a freshen up. Very old chipped furniture. Bathroom suite was from the 80's upgrade needed 😌

Having stayed here 5 times in the past year this stay was extremely disappointing and would make us rethink staying agai
Cons:

Had to have a first room changed due to poor standard and looking straight out to the rubbish bins. No prior warning lift wasn’t working - needed to call a staff member to use. Moved to a better room ( on 3 rd floor )however at 830pm a work van arrived outside and proceeded to use pneumatic drills to dig up pavement at station and then a small digger. The noise kept us awake most of the night. Hotel said they were unable to move us to another room and gave us 1 set of ear plugs.

Weekend break
Pros:

Great location right next to the station.Nice clean bedroom good breakfast. Good helpful and pleasant staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately the lift wasn't working and we were on the 3rd floor and have limited mobility. However the staff were brilliant and took us up and down in the service lift.
