The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice but a microwave would have been useful to warm the food to our liking

Room was close to bin area and quite noisy during early morning
Good communication with the hotel and our request for single beds and a walk-in shower had been efficiently sorted. The Hotel is just a few metres from the station in Carlisle which was good, and yet it was quiet. Beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. Breakfast was good quality with freshly cooked bacon, eggs, beans and sausages etc.

Na inchecken bleek de lift stuk. Alles koffers via de trappen naar de derde verdieping dragen.
De eenpersoonskamer rook heel muf.
De ramen konden niet dicht en zat naartoe een café met luide muziek.
Tot overmaat van ramp een lekkage midden in de nacht waarvan ik wakker werd. En zo een korte nacht heb gehad.
Persoonlijk dat geen geld terug wou geven voor al het ongemak. Er is beloofd dat de Manager zou bellen. Nu 5 dagen later nog steeds noet gebeurt.
Ik zou het hotel mijden als je andere opties hebt.

Das Hotel ist direkt am Bahnhof. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück war gut.
Aufzug war defekt und wir mussten das Gepäck bis in den 3. Stock schleppen. Das Bett war sehr unbequem. Duschen war etwas schwierig, weil die Dusche in der Badewanne ist.

Good location. Very nice staff, could not have been more helpful. They were dealing with an unexpected incident at the hotel and both worked really hard to communicate with guests and ensure everyone’s comfort
Shabby rooms and staircases, lift out of order, tiles in bathroom were missing grout. Room was dark with dirt and mould on inside of windows, which did not open so no fresh air
