The Lynden Grove Hotel

Loved the accommodation, the style, amenities....super cosy English feel. Great breakfast and dinner too. Staff was fabulous. I truly enjoyed my stay. The games room and massage chair and jacuzzi bath was an extra bonus, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Close to the city centre too. Honestly, I can't fault it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Nuwara Eliya. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always available whenever we needed anything. Their kindness made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Overall, we felt at home during our time here thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

El hotel está muy bien. Cerca andando del centro. Desayuno muy bueno y una sala de juegos con billar disponible de forma gratuita.

Het hotel ligt centraal. De medewerkers waren heel vriendelijk. Er was een ruimte met pool en voetbaltafel, wat leuk was voor de kinderen gezien het slechte weer. De kamer was ruim genoeg en ook gezellig aangekleed.

Cudowne doświadczenie i wspaniała niespodzianka! Zostaliśmy bardzo pozytywnie zaskoczeni darmowym upgradem do pokoju z wanną z hydromasażem. Jako że byliśmy prawdopodobnie jedynymi gośćmi w hotelu w tym okresie, obsługa znakomicie się nami zajęła. Serwis był na najwyższym poziomie, a jedzenie po prostu pyszne. Bardzo dziękujemy za tak wyjątkowe ugoszczenie!

Only 12 rooms, colonial charm, and people who genuinely care - Lyndon Grove ticks all the right boxes.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The team had an additional bed set up for us even before we arrived, without us ever asking - just because they noticed we were a group of four. That says a lot. Special mention to Mr. Kazim at reception, Mr. Gnanam for guest services, and Mr. Mohamed Nazim in the kitchen - all three were warm, proactive and made the stay feel personal.

The food was great. Dinner was à la carte - delicious and generous portions. Breakfast was continental and equally satisfying. The chef is a charming older gentleman who clearly loves what he does.

Top floor has some board games like chess and foosball - simple but a nice touch. Also, there is a life if you happen to get a room on top floors.

Would definitely recommend for a relaxed, quiet stay

Fantastic and cozy accommodation during our stay in Nuwara Eliya! Great service, good food from the room service menu and overall a great and nice stay.

Friendly staff. Pretty building.

The hotel was welcoming and had a lovely style to it. There was a pool table upstairs that we could use after returning from dinner.

Delightful little hotel. Unfortunately views were spoilt by a new building right in front. However the staff were so welcoming, hospitable, warm.
The bain - marie heating dishes didn't keep the food very hot, luke warm, but the wonderful chef whisked our plates away and instantly returned them with hot and delicious food.
However wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Sri Lanka gem.

Great location and very kind staff. They really cared about our stay and helped organize everything so we could catch the train to Ella. They even prepared a delicious breakfast to take away for us. Highly appreciated!
