It was conveniently located, super clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay there again should I need to visit the area again.
The breakfast set up was great, but it was very bottlenecked and hard to get around since it was so tiny.
The staff were super nice and helpful.
There were some sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot.

Rooms were comfortable. Staff friendly. Breakfast very good.
Elevator was broken (however staff notified us the day before which was very nice).
Too few outlets/charging stations in room.
Convenient to everything
It’s old, shower was rusted. Dust in corners and found a bug in the bed last day we stayed
Both room were not clean . Also there were a roach in the room and I have pictures to provide our stay.
Cleanliness
The location was great for me. It was central to the places I had to go while in the Hampton Roads area. It was nice to have breakfast as an offering included in the stay.
Having to pay for parking in an uncovered, non-valet lot was unexpected. While the cost was not excessive, it felt like an additional fee being passed on to guests, especially given the already high room rate.
I liked the location.
When the charge for a 1 night stay hit my credit card, it was $50 higher than I expected, so I went to the front desk to inquire about that. I was told that it was an incidental fee that would be refunded when we checked out. When we checked out the next day, there was a $5 fee for parking. When you are paying $192 to spend the night, you shouldn't have to pay an additional $5/day parking fee. It is not that $5 is a high fee. It is the principle of the matter. Hotels shouldn't charge fees that are not fully disclosed at the time of booking. There shouldn't be a fee to park your car overnight. What additional fee will they charge next? I will probably look elsewhere for a place to stay in the future.
The property needs some TLC. Example in the room we stayed in the carpet is lifting up where the floor meets the carpet. The hallway on the 1st floor needed cleaning up some. The outside rug is filthy dirty and some lights are out outside of the property and in the hotel room. 112
I loved the location, clean room and the hospitality from staff was amazing!
Clean and convenient location for my destination
The location worked well for us. The facility was nice. The bathroom was a good size and well laid out.
The room was not clean when we arrived. The previous occupants leftovers were in the fridge. We cleaned the room ourselves. The maid didn't visit the room once while we were there. When we went to the front desk to get towels, the front desk person seemed very unconcerned. Also, they didn't have any regular maple syrup on the last day we were there. They only had sugar-free.
