Es un hotel súper céntrico con mucha facilidad para la movilidad

I stayed in this gem of a hotel during the World Cup group match between Ecuador and Curaçao, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The art deco theme makes the hotel unique -- you really feel like you're in the thick of historic Kansas City, home to jazz clubs, speakeasies, and Union Station, symbols of the Gilded Age.
The hotel bar is, quite literally, named "The Speakeasy" and offers a panoply of 1920s-themed cocktails. There's also an attached Italian restaurant (didn't try it) and omakase sushi restaurant, which offers creative, high-end sushi. I loved the snow crab nigiri, which featured smoke snow crab with a dash of white pepper. (Another pro tip: try the lunch menu, which offers chirashi don at a very reasonable price.)
If you're concerned that this is an "old" hotel that will offer antiquated fixtures or what not, don't be: all rooms have been remodeled in a period-appropriate way, but the water pressure is strong, the wi-fi works, and the beds are very comfortable. The reception/concierge is also very knowledgeable about Kansas City venues. The central location also can't be beat; it's one block away from the free downtown streetcar (i.e., light rail) that takes you anywhere on Main Street. You can easily get to the famous Green Lady Lounge and Blue Dolphin Jazz Club, or the WWI Museum, or the City Market District by streetcar and foot within ten minutes or so

Era un asco. Sucio. Mugriento. Con olor a cigarrillo. El inodoro tapado. El papel higiénico cuando llegamos ya estaba casi terminado. Ni siquiera pusieron uno nuevo

Great feel. Matt from valet was really informative and helped tremendously.
I had the pleasure of hosting a Pride event over the weekend at Hotel Phillips! It was such an amazing experience on many levels! The staff was incredibly accommodating and fun! From Edmund and Irma who assisted with the planning and logistics to Adam, April and Jordan who assisted with Food and Beverage- They ALL were AMAZING in their own way and true experts in what they do. April put out the most AMAZING BUFFET! The food was so fabulous and I am still getting compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed it. (We need recipes!) But I have to say it was April and her excitement and love of what she does that made a lasting impression on us. She is special and I am so grateful for her expertise for this event! The cocktails were perfection. Jordan came up with the most inventive signature cocktails for the event that the crowd loved! The espresso martini was a HIT! Adam checking in with me and making sure the guests we happy and that amazing personality made all the difference. All of that wrapped up in the beauty of this historic gem of a hotel! They are true pros at what they do. Thank you Hotel Phillips for caring about our community and not only allowing us to host a Pride event but also be so excited about it. It means more than you know. You owe it to yourself to stay at this hotel, enjoy the restaurants and architecture and make your way down to P.S. the speakeasy with the most amazing atmosphere! Bravo Hotel Phillips
