Great location with comfortable rooms and amazing ruins in the lowest level. Check in and out was quick and easy. Nice to have a pool to refresh in early evening before going back out to explore.
Breakfast buffet was abundant but not on par with our other hotels during this trip. Dining room was in lowest level, food was basic, and there was over reliance on pre made options vs fresh prepared.
Clean property, helpful staff and good location for the an Acropolis.
Small pool area for size of hotel. Based at the bottom of a hill to get anywhere and also hilly location to get to Monastiraki Square.
Excelente ubicación, con una terraza espectacular en la que se come muy bien con vista a la acropolis.
Todo el personal muy amable y bien predispuesto. Muy buen desayuno.

Location unbeatable
Nice pool, with a secluded tropical feel.
The breakfast was good in terms of variety and quantity. Nothing really special though. The staff were lovely and would get you a decent coffee if you asked. The percolated pot coffee is probably to be avoided though, unless for pure fluid replacement.
Excellent location.
Friendly staff.
Complimentary items were appreciated.
Wifi was terrible.
Rooms were a bit dated, but very clean.
Both treadmills in the gym didn’t work.
Very close to Acropolis and its museum (10 minutes walk). And all others points of interest within reasonable walking distance (30 minutes). No need to take any means of transportation.
Exceptional Buffet.
Very nice gift shop.
Very efficient and nice staff.
Nothing, every thing was made to make you feel at home.
The staff and the location were 100% the best part of staying here …. So friendly from the moment we arrived until we left
The breakfast is in the basement without natural light, in a lovely warm country I would prefer to have the chance to eat outside but that is only because I am from the Uk
The location and the pool were good. However the rest of the package was very disappointing.
Unfortunately this was a very poor experience.
The room was small and decor very dated, run down. From the photos we were expecting it to be much nicer. The air condition vent was cracked, dusty and flaking with paint or something else.
We had supposedly been upgraded to an executive room (unfortunately this was not executive standard and added to the disappointment).
We had an issue with mosquitoes the first night and they told us to go to the supermarket and purchase a spray (they also suggested that we ourselves purchase a mosquito machine from the pharmacy). We had bugs crawling over our phones and lampshades (which were very dusty). We understand that sometimes there can be issues like this but what we were surprised about was the entire lack of care from the reception staff. One staff member shrugged which for a paying customer at is supposedly a higher end hotel was really surprising. We left the conversation with the staff feeling very uncomfortable about the whole situation and contemplated requesting cancellation and moving hotels, but logistically this proved difficult for us given that it would have been last minute bookings adding to costs.
The second night we had pigeons living in the balcony window frame that kept us up and then needed cleaning from bird poo. The balcony itself had very dated/old dirty furniture, so we didn’t use the balcony at all for this reason (bird poo over the seats etc). We had to ask specifically for this to be cleaned and when we say bird poo, it was so significant that we couldn’t step out onto the balcony due to the volume of droppings.
The roof restaurant bar is the key attraction (it was lovely) however it was extremely expensive for food and drinks. The main restaurant / breakfast area was in the basement are was dingy (we were disappointed and didn’t go because it was dark and not a nice place to start the morning).
Loved everything. This is truly a 5-star hotel in an excellent location. Staff were exceptional - couldn't do enough for us. Food on the rooftop restaurant was out of this world. Acropolis is walking distance away but being able to see it at night while dining on amazing food really was a treat. The area is super-safe and most things are within easy and safe walking distance. Local, non-touristy bars and restaurants are also within a few hundred metres. We loved the Divani and would 100% stay again.
The only thing was the pool was a bit chilly - but that's a minor thing!
- The most fabulous Acropolis view from the rooftop bar.
- Close to Piraeus port.
Quite dated style / cold lobby area decoration.
I had just 2 days in Athens with my husband and adult son and wanted to make the most of it. It was our first visit to Athens so I wanted to do a little something extra to make it memorable. I booked my son a room with a partial view of the Acropolis and booked the suite on the top floor with a terrace the had a full-on view of the Acropolis for us. It included ample seating for all of us, a wonderful automated awning for when the sun got too intense and a hot tub. The hotel even sent us a daily snack tray with fresh fruit and sweets plus a bottel of wine was waiting when we checked in. We felt absurdely spoiled and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful with recommendations, the breakfast buffet was huge and delicious, and dinner at The Secret, their rooftop restaurant was truly special and should not be a "secret." The neighborhood was so convenient with just a short walk to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and many delightful cafes.
