Un hôtel classique de très bon standing.
Pros:

L’amabilité et la disponibilité du personnel, la qualité de la literie, la vue depuis la chambre et la piscine ne sûr le roof top.

Cons:

ניקיון ותחזוקה- אחד החדרים היה עם מלא נמלים, אחרי שהערנו שלחו את שירות החדרים לנקות, אבל למחרת בבוקר הופיעו שוב.
בחדר השני היה מזרן מזעזע- פשוט לא מתאים למלון שמכבד את עצמו.
נגישות של המלון- באופן מפתיע יש כמה מקומות. בהם המלון אינו נגיש- כמו למשל הכניסה הראשית של המלון בה צריך לטפס 4 מדרגות עם עגלה.

Pros:

A stay at Divani Caravel was truly memorable and emotional. This year we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, and 40 years ago we spent our honeymoon here, making this return very special.

We informed the hotel in advance, and the management made our stay wonderful by upgrading us to a suite and surprising us with sweets and thoughtful touches in our room. We felt very welcomed and appreciated.

A special thank you to Angeline from the Concierge Desk, who was kind and highly professional. She helped us book an MSC cruise for the next day and arranged everything quickly and smoothly.

We are very grateful to the Divani Caravel team for their exceptional hospitality and for making our anniversary so special.

After 40 years, Caravel still holds a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Nice but wouldn’t stay here again

The property felt like it was in a safe & quiet neighborhood

Cons:

It is too far removed from the consciences of city amenities, restaurants & shopping to warrant these rates! The beds were super firm (think of a slab!) & low to the ground (tough on bad knees). The front desk staff was generally ok … friendly (sort of - as a “southerner” I anticipate everyone loving their job & customers and showing it - apparently not the case here) - at check in I was asked to pay an additional fee & sent on my way- I had to ask for “typical” check in information (hours for breakfast, restaurants, etc) & the password for their WiFi (No info given at check in - bc their isn’t one! It’s unsecured!! Wow!) I also had to ask numerous times for an additional pillow (2 standard pillows on a king bed?) While the roof top pool area is lovely, the staff were borderline rude and completely incompetent. Also - beware of the pool tiles! Wow they are slippery!

Comfortable in a luxurious hotel with great staff and facilities.
Pros:

On the positive side, the hotel staff were all very professional and friendly. The property is very attractive and worthy of 5 stars. The facilities were fantastic. The room was very comfortable.

Cons:

Firstly, some areas that I believe need improvement- this is meant to be constructive feedback. The front entrance to the hotel should include a ramp. I found using the stairs quite challenging. Given that the water from taps is not drinkable, the hotel should provide bottles of drinking water on a daily basis. eg one bottle per person. Charging 6 Euro for a large bottle gets very expensive. Also, a kettle should be available for tea drinkers - the 'hot water' from the coffee machine was not hot enough. In addition, when I asked for a larger cup for tea, the hotel didn't have any.

Pros:

The location is good. Services - pool, gym, spa, restaurants - are not great but at least they have them. The pool is small, deep so not the best for young children, and extremely busy.

Cons:

Prices are on par with major city five star hotels, but the quality of services, food, amenities and facilities are suboptimal, feels like visiting a hotel in the 1990s or early 2000s. Coordinating with the hotel concierge was impossible, I got a different answer every time, they were not even able to order me a taxi to pick us up at the port.

Great staff at the restaurant.

Cons:

Bathtub was mentioned as it’s included to the booked room. But no bathtub.
I told to the staff and was asked to email about it. Then no reply.
