A beautiful room, spacious and comfortable, and the balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the street scene. Very quiet. Great breakfast, super location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Locatia foarte buna, acces usor catre Central Station, personalul din receptie foarte dragut si amabil.
Pretul de aprox 483 euro pe noapte a fost prea mare si nejustificat. Camera primita nu a fost cea pentru care am facut rezervare, conform pozelor postate pe Booking la descrierea camerei. In poze camera era prezentata cu vedere la canal, in realitate camera era cu orientare la strada/tramvai. Vedere nu exista in realitate, deoarece in camera sunt 2 randuri de geamuri fixe, prinse in suruburi, care nu se pot deschide! Consider ca aceasta informatie este foarte importanta si lipseste din descrierea hotelui. Calatoresc des si este primul hotel in care ma cazez si in care nu se pot deschide geamurile camerei. In conditiile in care afara erau 27 de grade, iar in camera te sufocai si nu se putea aerisi sau ventila natural - Doar cu AC. Am reusit sa schimbam camera cu una la mandarda, la etajul 4 la care accesul era destul de dificil - 2 etaje se urcau pe niste scari foarte inguste. La micul dejun, partea calda se comanda separat, nu este bufet. Primesti oua la alegere si o felie mica de bacon.
Great location
All theittle things. Shower door did not close (a gap at bottom), hard to pump shower soap, cheap bed pillows, difficulty controlling temp in room, and a non smoking hotel with hotel staff & others standing just outside of the lobby open doors woth smoke rafting in. Not impressed for the exhorbidant price paid a "canal" view.
The location is central to so many things. The tram drops you off right in front of the Hotel. You are a 10 minute walk to the Rjiks museum. There are so many incredible places to eat and shop in the vicinity. There is an ETOS (pharmacy) right next door for any last minute needs. The staff is amazing! Add in the breakfast, it's worth it. The sitting room has a cappuccino machine that you can access 24 hours.
This hotel is perfection! There was nothing I did not like. This will be the place I stay ANYTIME I go to Amsterdam.

Expensive but u pay for location
Location was great and our room 408 had great views. Breakfast was very good and fresh; Staff was very helpful and Amazing on all shifts. Manager very helpful. Coffee and pastries in the lounge a must since we could not check in until 3;00pm.
Paid for breakfast but could not use on the last day due to flight change and was told we could not get a refund.
Some Uber drivers would not pick up in front of the hotel.
Elevator only to the second floor then had to use steep stairs to the fourth floor (room 408)

Beautiful hotel, exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were gorgeous and a generous size. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of options including freshly prepared eggs. Coffee/tea are available in a lounge all day. There were gorgeous huge fresh flower arrangements all over the common areas. It is located nicely on the canal and tram 2/17/24 area close to the art museums.
The bathroom was beautiful and large, but the shower was not enclosed enough so water tended to escape when showering!

A great location to see many sites in central Amsterdam by foot. Friendly staff that was very helpful.
Our room and bath were large and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast excellent.
Very convenient location on tram lines to connect to trains and major sites throughout the city. Very clean and comfortable.
Hotel is flanked by lots of tourist shops and eateries so busy and noisy, but very easy to find quiet, more residential neighborhoods nearby to enjoy more local experience.
Size of room and views, great breakfast and very friendly staff.
Minibar not stocked and no scotch, vodka etc for sale.
