Wonderful historic building ideally situated for shopping and theatre
Pros:

Amazing Building. Great staff. Great location. Great food.

Cons:

A little more thought could have gone into the design of the room from a practical sense. A dressing table with a mirror would have been helpful. The bathroom could have done with somewhere to put your things - such as some shelving next to the sink perhaps.

Pros:

Amazing building, fantastic attention to detail. Room snacks, social hour, plants everywhere, amazing staff, handyman chatted to us about the building pointing out historical areas of interest. Bar and waiting on staff were really helpful.

Cons:

Loved it all. Would love to visit again with my husband and children. I came on a girls’ night away.

Pros:

We stayed at the Kimpton for our wedding. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing.

Cons:

Our one complaint was the scaffolding surrounding the building. We chose this hotel due to photos we wanted to take before setting off to the wedding venue, choosing a room with a stunning window that would be perfect for photos. The window was covered in scaffolding. While we appreciate works need to be done on a historic building, guests should have been notified about the works beforehand.
