Night away in Manchester to watch Puressence.
Pros:

We always use this hotel when we come to Manchester, location is great for most music venues and the theatre. The bar is just superb, lovely laid back atmosphere with great music and the breakfast is great. The rooms are really nice and the staff always helpful, professional and polite.

Cons:

Nothing, all good.

Beautiful Hotel, Amazing Service
Pros:

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel and honestly had such a great experience from start to finish. The building itself is stunning, full of character and history.

What stood out most though was the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially Patrick on reception.

The room was stylish and comfortable. We left already talking about coming back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Overall, it was a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and outsta
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Kimpton Clocktower in Manchester city centre. The building itself is incredible — so full of history and character, and honestly one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in. From the moment you walk in, the architecture and atmosphere are just amazing.

Our room was fantastic: spacious, comfortable, and finished to a really high standard. The hotel facilities were excellent throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was super helpful, friendly, and welcoming.

The location was perfect for exploring Manchester, and parking nearby was easy to find which made everything really convenient. Breakfast was also extremely good with plenty of choice and high-quality food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Cons:

There was nothing to not like, it was super.

Nice building, quite average in other ways.
Pros:

The location was ideal for our stay in the city. Cannot fault the quality of service and the building itself is a stunning piece of 18th/19th century architecture, albeit covered in scaffolding when we went. Certainly an experience with a certain atmosphere.
Our room was typical of an older hotel though, with obvious signs of electrical changes and shortcomings. The lights in the room were limited in options and control. The HVAC unit kept switching itself on at night and waking us up. The light under the door was like the Millennium Falcon's hyperspace engine. We had the choice of a bedside light or plugging in a viable modern USB phone charger. Beautifully tiled bathroom with a good shower and bath, nice king bed albeit not especially comfy. Fridge, complimentary snacks, robes and slippers, and nice toiletries all very much appreciated.
Breakfast is definitely not worth £22 (or £7 extra for certain options). Most of it was pretty standard; some items were cold or tasteless no matter what breed of pig they were from. Manchester is overflowing with nice places to eat breakfast; you can do better.
I'm glad we stayed here but value for money is not the reason to do so.

Spacious rooms in Manchester. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Comfortable beds and spacious rooms

Cons:

If you are in the first floor rooms over the weekend the noise at night from the street directly below can be very loud. Wasn’t the nicest area outside.
