Pros:

The staff was friendly, helpful, down to earth. I felt so comfortable at this hotel. This was my first visit to Oregon; yet, i didn't feel like a visitor. The staff was very attentive, from the minute I landed at PDX until the shuttle picked me up to leave. Thanks for a great stay.

A disappointment that could have been better had the staff cared to tell us about the pool next door

Cons:

When I booked the room a few months ago the amenities included a swimming pool. When we checked in on the 4th of July we were told the pool was closed indefinitely. A big disappointment since our purpose for the booking was a "staycation" to protect our cats (and ourselves) from the illegal fireworks that turn our neighborhood into a war zone. The consolation would be that we could at least have a swim. The staff checking us in did not inform us that the sister hotel next door had a pool we could use. Nor did they tell us our room charge did not reflect the pet fee of $50 + tax, $58.00 total we had to pay at check out. $250 for a 12 hour stay, a terrible breakfast and a too-soft bed. Very disappointing.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and the shuttle was a great convenience!

Cons:

Only 1 elevator was working and took awhile to be available. Not a big deal but it did take awhile. There was a line of people waiting.

The trip started out great from the friendly front desk to the housekeepers.
Pros:

Close to the airport and very quiet despite all the takeoffs and landings. I had a great view of Mt Hood.

No restaurant
