A pleasant overnight stay during an unpleasant travel delay.
Pros:

The staff were amazing. After a long travel day of delayed flights leaving Hawaii and getting stuck in Portland for the night the staff were SO nice and professional they had our room keys ready when we got off the shuttle and check in was like 2 minutes it was such a relief to have 1 thing go smooth. Breakfast was also great.

Cons:

There was a strong marijuana smell on the 4th floor on the way to our room late night, I don’t blame the hotel for the rude guest and it seemed to be taken care of by the morning.

Das geht am Flughafen PDX deutlich besser.
Pros:

Freundliches Personal beim Check In.

Cons:

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe des Flughafens PDX. Lückenhafte Kommunikation bzgl. der Shuttle-Abholung, keine regelmäßigen/zuverlässigen Antworten über den Booking-Messenger. Miserables Frühstück. Lärm auf den Fluren/Türenschlagen bis 2 Uhr nachts wegen an- und abreisender Flugzeug-Crews, die das Hotel nutzen.

I wouldn't come back.
Pros:

It was a fairly typical Hampton.

Cons:

It's getting rather old, and could use a revamp. They wouldn't provide any transport to area restaurants, so we ate next door at the Sheraton -- not a great experience. The shuttle driver had a pick-up to do, didn't want to be inconvenienced by dropping us at the departure level and instead dropped us at arrivals.

Pros:

Staff were very efficient and friendly. It was a short overnight stay but very convenient for flights in and out. Hotel was updated, comfortable and clean. A good value for the stay when flying in and out.
