Normally Hampton Inn is excellent but not this stay.
Pros:

Great location. Decent price. Rooms well laid out. Normally Hampton Inn is great at all this.

Cons:

The fire alarm went off twice within 24 hours, once at 3:30 AM. The hotel was full including many young kids and elderly people. Explanations as to why were not given. Breakfast on last day was poor. No milk or cereal, no juice, no oatmeal and no hot food 90 minutes before Buffett closed. Staff was defensive about problems. No apologies.

Pros:

The location was in a good spot but I think you could use a few more ideas to choose from for breakfast.

Cons:

Very nice and perfect for what we needed to come see the zoo.
Pros:

The two women at the front behind the desk during my check in and check out were both so friendly and very personable. They were awesome! I unfortunately did not get their names.

Cons:

The only thing i could complain about was the two dogs staying down the hall from us were a little loud but that's not the hotels fault, its the dogs owner.

Overall the stay was pretty good.
Pros:

It was close to restaurants some within walking distance.

Cons:

It was out dated. The toilet seats to low. The housekeeper only clean the room every other day of your stay. If you there just for the weekend, the room will not get clean. Have to call front desk for fresh towels and sheets, but have to make your own bed up.

Do not stay here at all
Pros:

Absolutely one of the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. For three nights I sweat to death in the room because the thermostat is controlled by motion and you cannot override. I also tried to cancel an upcoming trip at five days and they will not cancel because they say they have a five day cancellation. Do not stay at this hotel and if I can get one person to not stay, it is worth the late cancel fee I had to pay that they have charged me.

Over all I enjoyed the stay.
Pros:

I liked the location. It’s very close to food lion, Walmart, and other stores you may need while on your visit.

It’s also right next to a restaurant you could walk to, and also close by other restaurants that we enjoyed.

It’s close to a couple different gas stations as well which was convenient for us.

Cons:

There were some little stains on the bedding, and in the bathroom.

The jacuzzi was not functional during our visit which was a bummer.

I wish they offered some fresh fruit for breakfast other than the apples.

Not the fault of the hotel itself but we noticed a strong smell of weed and cigarettes in the elevators.
