Undergoing renovation, no check in desk. I had to beat on an office door for someone to check us in. Smell, dust everywhere. My allergies were on overdrive. In room, very musty smelling, soiled bedding. Awoke the next morning to roaches crawling on the night stand.

Upon checking into Room 112, I immediately discovered numerous cleanliness and maintenance issues, including an extremely dirty carpet, heavily stained furniture, and a strong mold-like odor throughout the room. The condition of the room was so concerning that I did not bring any of my belongings inside and decided I could not stay there.
I promptly returned to the front desk to report the issues. Rather than addressing my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, the employee on duty informed me that I would not receive a refund because a dirty or stained couch was not considered a legitimate reason. I then returned to the room with the employee to show him the conditions firsthand and documented the room on video.
Because the room was not in an acceptable condition for occupancy, I checked out almost immediately after checking in and never used the accommodations. They still haven’t refunded my money and not one member of management contacted me about this issue.
I have photographs and video documentation of the room’s condition and can provide them upon request.
This location isn’t family friendly or safe for people that are visiting out of town. This location is more for people who are in the streets or using unsolicited services while staying there.

nice people, clean rooms, good bed, smells bad (literally)
Pros:

Very nice people, room facilities were a bit older but well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean and everything worked. Good shower water pressure. Better than I expected for the price, though the price is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Free shuttle from the airport was nice. This was a last-minute one-night rental after my flight was delayed, and everything went smoothly.

Cons:

For the price, I would stay here again, but not for much more. While otherwise pleasant, the entire hotel smells very strongly like the inside of a cat litter box. This is not an exaggeration. A highly used multi-cat litterbox, specifically. The odor started out strong and got stronger moving down the hallway. A little better- but not gone- inside the room, which had cat scratches on the furniture. Not sure if that's a coincidence or if there is an entire feline colony prospering here. My understanding is that the odor could have other sources.

The AC was off when I checked in and the carpet was damp and made my feet a bit slick with some kind of cleaning product(?). Running the AC for a few hours helped, and it wasn't anything gross (other than that people don't expect wet feet at a hotel).

I felt safe but my rideshare driver to dinner said it's a rough neighborhood.

Overall this place was a weird experience. If it weren't for the smell and the wet carpet, it could be mistaken for a hotel costing five times more. Free shuttle from the airport was great, too bad they only start at 8am, so I needed rideshare for my way back (about $10).
