Only there 2 days but was pleasant. Would I stay there again, maybe, not sure.
Pros:

Room size was great and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The customer service was great.

Cons:

Although I understand the age of the building and the heritage, upon arriving the hotel appears to be in darkness and doesn't give you that wow factor. The lighting in the hotel needs improving especially in our room 406. The ambiance of the place needs to be more inviting. A bit dull and dreary.

Pros:

It’s all brilliant, except the air con is not great in the rooms. There’s also no fans so it’s really a very warm hotel room. There’s rest of the hotel is cool but for sleeping and changing in the room it’s hot.

Great location near the river & easy walking to the casino. Very comfortable bed, excellent linen & towels.
