The location in the downtown was excellent. Free parking.
It’s very very old, well past the complete rip out and remodelling stage. The architectural style is best described as a ‘box’. Just knock it down and build something attractive.
The noise from every passing car is right in your room, starting from as early as 4:30am
Nice hotel overall
Too close to train. Beds and pillows were awful.
We paid a bit extra for the chemical free version of their cleaning products. It was 345 for a single night. This hotel is waaaaay past its prime. Run down, tacky and over priced. The tub was gritty and the whole bathroom looked sad and yellowed. It’s just an old icky hotel. Stay anywhere else.
The room had been completely renovated, which was a nice positive. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were comfortable, and the shower was good.
On the downside, the air conditioner was quite noisy, and we could also hear the train from the room, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Breakfast was not included during our stay.
Old, Outdated, no pool, no breakfast. Worn looking and dirty outside area. No drive up check-in area. Low ceilings, cramped elevator exit space. Found dirty bathtub with older, worn bath tub fixtures. Toilet would not flush unless you held the handle down. Ice bucket had water in it and no plastic liner. Obviously not cleaned. Torn material on both benches at end of the bed. Large pipes along the upper wall and ceiling area. Called to have the tub cleaned and they couldn't get it clean. Too stained up. Hotel clerk told us since they fixed the problem so they didnt need to do more! I asked for a manager and told none were there until 11am the folliowing day. I had originally booked two nights. Checked out after one night! They charged over $200 a night! A disgrace! Don't stay here!
We stayed here three nights as part of our Caravan tour. Rooms were good size but biggest issue was the AC was so noisy. When it comes on you can’t really watch TV. Beds are reasonable comfortable. Breakfast is same. Adequate but nothing to get excited for. Overall an adequate hotel but nothing that stands out as excellent.
Location & free parking.
The rooms are dated. Shower door hadn’t been cleaned in a while, which was obvious.
Gar nichts. Schlechtestes Hotel auf der ganzen Reise. Schmutzig, laut.
Ekelhaftes Badezimmer. Haare im Badezimmer. Bett wurde nicht gemacht. Es ist für mich unvorstellbar, wie man dieses Hotel empfehlen kann.
Great location. Downtown shops and restaurants are right there. Hotel lobby with beautiful mosaic of Mount Rushmore on the floor. Rooms nice. Staff was super friendly and even gave a little packet of goodies for my dog
There is a railroad route nearby and a couple of trains did pass through in the evening
Nice room and employees were good
Not enough parking
Good location-close to everything downtown.
Room was ok-fairly comfortable and clean. No mini fridge in the room. No continental breakfast offered. Really felt overpriced for what is was.
Great location in downtown. Close to shops and restaurants.
Low ceilings made it feel very small. Shower was dark. Lighting was generally not great.
The bed was very comfortable, super comfortable
Turn off was a long hair on my towel before using anything in the room. The hotel has a microwave, but it's not accessible to guests. You have to give your food to desk staff to heat or warm. 🙄 You give ID verification before checking in, and I presented it when checking in. The person checking me in asked what my last name 😐, the other staff member, assisted and told them my last and gave me my key card. The room was decent with a good view. The hair made me question how clean the room really was.
Hotel is nice and clean. Staff was great. First hotel I've been to in forever that didn't have a refrigerator in room. This is a travel location so is very surprising. We have dietary needs and bring our own food. Staff gave us one for free which was appreciated. One negative is smoking table is right outside front door and you have to go past it to get to parking lot. Moving it away from there would be appreciated.
Clean and nice staff
Nothing bad to say
