staff was unbelievable- across the board, went over and above expectations- for a well deserved tip. The restaurant and food in general was above expectations- and do yourself a favor and order the crayfish menu at 'La Maree' restaurant. The historic buildings at 'Anno' restaurant are spectacular and an amazing spot for a drink at the roof top or dinner downstairs- well over 500 different rums, gins and whiskeys to taste

Cons:

Noisy at times- kids, early morning gardening work right outside the room was a bit annoying but perhaps got me out of bed earlier.
Don't count on the 9 holes golf course if you are a 'golfer'- instead play at Mont Choisy (European tour venue), but it's not cheap.
Though the beach was wonderful- there are much better options around the island

Pleasant, but much room for improvement

-Too many wasps on the upper floors
-Strong smell from bathroom
-Only one water bottle provided upon arrival, and it is not automatically replenished
- Some dinner buffet staff severely lack professionalism

Sollte man gesehen haben da dies der Ort ist an dem die Französischen Siedler anlandeten. Essen sollte man wo anders.
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage am Strand!
An der Rezeption hat alles geklappt.
Mein Sohn hatte sich verletzt und wir bekamen sofort Hilfe.

Cons:

Die Qualität des Essens ist für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse nicht akzeptabel.
Der Burger an der Bar war vom
Brot und Fleisch schlechter als bei MC Donald. Zum Abend wählten wir ein Buffet das kostet für 4 Personen 200€. (Zwei Erwachsene mit kleinen Kindern)
Auch hier war die Qualität ähnlich schlecht wie der Burger. Geschmacklich eher eine 4, Auswahl maximal eine 3. Der Nachtisch eine 2. Das Rechtfertigt für uns bei weitem nicht diesen Preis.

Der Service an der Bar war so unfreundlich das selbst meine Frau meinte hier sollten wir nicht wieder hin gehen.

A piece of heaven.
Pros:

One of the best resorts that i have been visited in the world.. the hotel is great .. the food is fresh and delecious .. beach is clean and have a crystal water .. green trees everywhere .. SPA IS A HEAVEN.. special thanks to all staff and special thanks to Mr. Deven who helped us a lot and was being generous with us .. thank you MARITIM HOTEL for the sweet days we had with you. Thank you from a a Quality Manager saw the quality in everything in the hotel.

Lots of facilities, great to have use of kayaks etc Boathouse organised a great trip for us(private trip which we paid for but was worth it) Spa is lovely and very chilled.

Cons:

Very large and limited capacity for the activities, you need to be very organised to book restaurants or even try to get a ball or golf clubs to play with. For me that takes away from he relaxation and freedom of a holiday. Also feels very isolated, would advise having a car to have flexibility and be able to access towns unless you want to pay for taxis which works out very expensive. Very much a resort and would be easy to stay confined and miss out on more authentic Maurutian experience.
