Blisko Dworca Gare Nord i blisko stacji metra Rogier, a z niej wyjście na główny deptak prowadzący na starówkę.Z kolei Rogier to świetna stacja ,by dojechać do Gare MIDI np linia 4 czy 10, , z której kursują autobusy Flibco na lotnisko Charleroi.
Pokoje czyste, wygodne łóżka i całodobowy bar na dole hotelu.
Mogłyby by być 2 ręczniki na osobę
It's good value for money for Brussels and the staff are very nice, when you can reach them.
The airco seemed to work pretty well, outside temp was 10-17 degrees and inside 18-23 without a problem.
The bathroom was old but great, and there was a massive window looking out on some trees and the garden behind the hotel, which was nice. The size of the room was also good.
The room was not properly cleaned, the floor was obviously unvacuumed. The bathroom and sheets were clean however.
Unfortunately, there were tonnes of noisy teenagers on my floor, running up and down, kicking and banging on doors until late at night, three nights in a row. Trying to reach the reception staff via telephone, email or the booking.com app was impossible and I had to wait for the kids to leave before I could do down and complain - it didn't feel safe stepping out into whatever was going on out there. I still have not received a reply about this via email or the app 2 days later, though the reception staff called the group's teacher to complain and apparently sent a security guard up at eleven o'clock. Unfortunately this made it difficult to rest.
The bed (mattress) was also incredibly uncomfortable and there was no proper table or chair in the room. The window was also not openable. For one night this is annoying but tolerable, but after three nights my back is definitely unhappy and painful. I've stayed here before in the more 'old fashioned' style rooms and the bed was a little better there.
Having to use a phone to check in is very annoying, but I appreciate some people won't mind.
Overall for this area in Brussels, it's pretty good value for money, but there's definitely room for improvement - it's an absolute must to have clean rooms and to be able to contact reception via telephone.
The room was so cold, there was no heating and when I tried to tell the staff about that, (I talked 2 different people), they were very rude. Especially an older man which was working in the late hours, only after telling him that it was unreasonable cold and we could not sleep there, he was like “I am not technician, I can’t do anything “. Then I asked him to give the blankets at least and he refused to do it at first, but then I was little strict this time and he gave the blankets. The next morning, there was a girl in the reception who took this complaint to her heart and called a real technician, who then came and fixed the heating.
Overall the staff were very rude and not helpful at all. Wouldn’t go there again.
Locatie is fijn!
At approximately 12:30 AM during the night, front desk staff knocked on my room door unexpectedly. After I opened the door, the staff member simply said “checking” and immediately left without any proper explanation.
I later went downstairs to ask for clarification, and I was only told that there had been a “double booking” issue and that they wanted to check whether the room was occupied. However, I had already completed check-in during the afternoon of May 14, which makes this situation completely unreasonable. I do not understand why my room needed to be “checked” in the middle of the night after I had already officially checked in and occupied the room.
More importantly, even if there had been an internal booking mistake, knocking on a guest’s door at 12:30 AM without proper communication or prior notice is highly inappropriate and unacceptable.
What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the front desk and security staff afterward. Instead of apologizing or trying to calm the situation professionally, I was told not to “raise my voice,” and the security staff stated that if I wanted to call the police or file a complaint, I could “do whatever I wanted.” This dismissive and aggressive attitude was deeply shocking.
As someone who has been taking antidepressant medication due to mental health conditions, this incident and the way I was treated caused me severe distress, anxiety, and emotional agitation. I felt unsafe, humiliated, and psychologically affected for the remainder of my stay.
