Die zentrale Lage und das ruhige Zimmer. Service und Sauberkeit sehr gut.

Cons:

Leider hat beim Frühstück ein Hund auf dem Stuhl gesessen / gelegen. Da es Menschen gibt, die eine Tierallergie haben, kann das unangenehme Nebenerscheinungen geben, wenn sich jemand auf diesen Stuhl setzt. Schade

Überraschend gut in Schuss
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ein Architekturdenkmal. Überraschend gut in Stand gehalten. Für Personen, die in den neunziger Jahren schon dort geschäftlich unterwegs waren, ein Ort der Nostalgie. Überraschend gut erhaltene Möblierung im Stil der achtziger Jahre. Viel Stauraum in den Zimmern. Und sogar noch Badewannen. Wunderbar.

Cons:

Der für Hotelgäste angebotene "Kiosk" wirkt etwas deprimierend. Insbesondere, da die Snacks zum Teil schon das Ablaufdatum überschritten hatten.

Die Lage

Cons:

Die Decke im Einzelzimmer war zu dünn, zu schmal und zu kurz. Unvorstellbar, wie sich damit z.B ein normal großer Mann zudecken soll.
Die Ausstattung ist outdated. Die voluminösen, aber instabilen Stehleuchter und die Tischlampen sind viel zu groß für das kleine Zimmer. Die Elektroleitungen wurden nicht an die zeitgemäßen Gegebenheiten angepasst, deshalb gibt's insgesamt viel zu wenig Steckdosen auf dem Zimmer. Am Nachttisch steht ein abgeschlaltetes uraltes Telefon und nimmt den Platz weg.
Ich habe um eine größere Decke gebeten. Sie wurde innerhalb von sieben Stunden nicht geliefert. Insgesamt drei Mal musste ich meinen Wunsch kommunizieren. Auch bei Rechnungslegung war mehr oder weniger das gleiche. Über booking kommen die Nachrichten nicht an oder sie werden nicht gelesen. Musste die Daten zuerst mühselig mündlich durchgeben und erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen wurde die Rechnung gemailt.

when the weather is good (not having heat wave), it is a good hotel to stay due to good location
Pros:

We arrived Koeln late due to 2.5 hours train delay. Well, the lady who did the check-in did not appear to be friendly. After we had entered the room, we found the window open; and thus we expected to have better air-cond after some time. But it was not true and I could hardly sleep in the heat wave (but we did not expect help in the midnight). In the next morning, we asked the reception to change room, and luckily we met Mrs A. Yurchenko, who later on checked our room together. After some discussion, she managed to arrange us to another room (not facing the west). Afterwards, we also asked her for more tourist info, and she is very helpful.

Cons:

the air-conditioning system is not catered for the heat wave. The hotel should have known which rooms are not suitable for guests, and we do believe that the air-cond in our 1st room was out of order - the hotel did send some technicians to check in the next morning.
The breakfast room and collection look great but the hot food is not kept warm enough eg the scrambled egg.

Prima hotel voor een dag overnachting in het Centrum van Keulen
Pros:

Mooi hotel met ideale ligging. Lekkere bedden en voldoende faciliteiten.

Cons:

Het zwembad gebied begint echt gedateerd te worden en mag wel een renovatie krijgen.

Pros:

Прекрасный отель по соотношению цена/качество.
Очень красивый холл со стеклянным куполом.
Просторный и чистый номер. Великолепный вид на Кёльнский собор. Хорошая звукоизоляция. Удобные кровати.
Завтрак скромный, но с чудесным видом на Рейн.
В отеле есть бар с отличной кухней.
Локация идеальная для прогулок по городу и поездки в аэропорт.

Erg duur voor faciliteiten, locatie is leidend ( midden in centrum) maar voor een middenklasse hotel is het te duur. Ontbijt zeer basic, Bedden middelmatig en faciliteiten in kamer( Junior suite) waren teleurstellend. erg kleine badkamer.
Voornamelijk zakelijk hotel met mooie locatie.

Gute Lage Frühstück war gut nur Parkgebühren ein bisschen zu teuer

Cons:

Die Zimmer dürften mal renoviert werden. Vor allem die Teppichboden gehören sich weg.
