Plenty of potential, don’t overbook, deliver what you promised and staff going the extra miles
Pros:

Room size good(I supposed this was down to what I paid). Rug was tripping hazard and when I reported it they just took it away! Hotel clearly overbooked; restaurant didn’t cope well with breakfasts eg I was told I couldn’t have fried eggs because cook was too busy. Breakfast was stressful. Staff while polite, can afford to go the extra mile to engage and support - senior staff tends to take defensive stands with issues but I was impressed with a couple of the waiters p

Cons:

In addition to my comments in the above section, I was disappointed about the underground access to the centre right outside the hotel - it was dirty and I was alerted to the risks of using the tunnel alone in the evenings. This is obviously not under the hotel’s full control but a surprise and disappointment for me nevertheless
