Would stay again if we ever return
Pros:

Staff at the front desk was great.

Cons:

The carpet in the hall and rooms were sticky. Pool hours should be extended latter for adults to enjoy without splashing children.

This was very unprofessional of this Hotel and I will never recommend anyone to stay at such a place

The stay was ok, but room smelled of mold and was very musty. Smelled like a smoker had been in the room.

Cons:

When I left the property a day early than expected, but paid for the room the deposit was never refunded after several phone calls and promised a return call to settle this, but no resolution due to the claim of I had an animal in the room. I don't even own an animal and was traveling there with my daughter for a softball tournament. This was very unprofessional of this Hotel and I will never recommend anyone to stay at such an establishment that lies on their guests just to make more money. This I want to address to whomever needs to know until I get my deposit back. This is not acceptable behavior.

Less than I expected
Pros:

The breakfast was pretty good.

Cons:

It wasn't clean, the elevator smoked, the repair work done to the rooms and hallways was pretty bad work and paint. It had a bad smell. And the pool was closed for "repairs" and that pool was the reason we booked the hotel.

Basic hotel not far from the airport and racetrack.

Bad service
Pros:

Horrible customer service. I booked this room for my son and I while working. My truck broke down and he went ahead of me. The front desk person disregarded him as a person even though I did everything she asked. Then after him waiting almost an hour while she helped others graciously and told them breakfast hours, etc. She tossed the keys at him with no words. Will never come back
