Well-appointed boutique hotel in historic centre
Pros:

Large comfortable room with quite new finishes and fittings to a good specification. We arrived very early indeed on check-in day and we were able to take a room straight away for a modest addition (which was also actually an upgrade). Didn’t use the bath (in the centre of the room), but the separate shower was excellent with lots of control options. Japanese style loo “an experience”. Well cleaned every day. Location excellent for the historic centre in a characterful area. Staff friendly and courteous. Lovely roof top bar/breakfast area - great breakfast too. We were in town for a wedding and there was loads of room to get ready - space, shelves, mirrors, convenient power points, ironing board etc. Would recommend.

Cons:

No breakfast on Mondays, but not really an issue as there are other options literally 1 minute away.
The high-tech gadgets in the room (blinds, lighting, Tv etc) with everything controlled from an iPad took a little getting used to - but everything worked fine. Japanese style loo had a weak flush (but lots of other “options”!). These are really not big issues - it was one of our best stays of the last few years.

Control of everything with tablet was to much especially because you had to dock it every time you needed to use it if it was not docketed prior you can’t just tap it and have it come on

Pros:

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The staff, the room, the location was perfect. The rooftop pool and restaurant was the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again.

Die Lage war gut

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren zwar modern, jedoch funktionierte Technik nicht, die meisten Funktionen waren fehl programmiert oder gar überhaupt nicht benutzbar. Wasser, Teebeutel etc. Kosten laut Menü extra, erst auf Nachfrage erfuhr Mann dann das es kostenlos sei, was widersprüchlich ist. Ebenso ist es extrem lau, da auf dem Dach die Bar extrem laut ist sowie der Markt vor der Tür, teilweise bis 0 Uhr und später. Das Hotel- Personal kann auch nur gebrochen Englisch.

It's located in a quiet area slightly away from the city center, with many street vendors in the square in front of it, Los Sapos.

Unusually for Mexico, there was a refrigerator in the room, which was convenient for chilling wine.
