Very pleasant 4 night stay in a comfortable, well located hotel.
Pros:

Excellent location for our planned visits. Close to South Kensington Underground.
Very quirky and interesting decor.
Polite and helpful staff.
Very clean throughout. Room spotless.

Cons:

Happy hour cocktails/mocktails 2 for 1 - you weren’t able to have one cocktail and one mocktail 2 for one. Had to be 2 cocktails or 2 mocktails. Missing a trick here I think.

Schönes Hotel in bester Lage
Pros:

Lage fußläufig zu Museen, Park, Restaurants, 2 Tube-Stationen und zahlreichen Geschäften. Das Hotel ist klein und persönlich. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und wie fühlten uns willkommen.

Cons:

Zimmer mit Terrasse war zum Hinterhof, leider befanden sich dort zahlreiche Klimaanlagen und es war entsprechend laut. Bei geschlossener Tür jedoch nicht störend. Das Bett war uns zu weich, das ist aber individuell.

Very good choice, great location.
Pros:

We loved the location. The neighbourhood is nice with cafes, restaurants, pubs and a metro station nearby. The room was cleaned every day, beds were comfortable and there was also a balcony. Soundproofing was quite good. There was complimentary water and snacks every day too. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very nice and welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage after check out as we had a late flight.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about.

Cons:

I booked a balcony room and specified on 3 occasions wanting a certain room. An hour before we were due to arrive I had a call to say the AC in the room I requested was broken, so I had no option but to take another room which was considerably smaller, and the balcony was a fraction of the size of the room I originally requested and paid for. The room was dirty, with dust in the sink, bathtub and there was mold on the shower ceiling. The room was small and tired looking, far from the one we requested originally and from a 5* hotel feel. We were celebrating my partners birthday. No compensation was offered, or difference in price for ending up in a smaller room with a smaller balcony. We were promised 2 free drinks as goodwill, then later received a call from reception to say it’s just for prosecco, not any drink. Just cheap… will not return and do not recommend.

Funky decor
Aircon in room

Cons:

The room was very tired, marks on walls, drawers that stick/don't open well. No fridge in room
Room very small
Cupboard far too small and such a tight squeeze - could do with somewhere to hang suit bag/dress maybe near door or back of door
Taps in bathroom sink too high so splashes everywhere.
Bed was very low to ground
Mattress too soft
Disappointed for price. It's not 5 star in my opinion. Prob more a 3 but with robes in the room.

Simply not a 5* hotel
Pros:

Good location, good shower.

Cons:

I've seen another review that says the same thing: this is simply not a 5* hotel in every way you can think e.g.:
- Room absolutely tiny, even though we upgraded
- Breakfast was poor
- Lift is tiny, very slow, and, I think, out of the Teletubbies (oh, and was in use by the cleaner when we arrived)
- Used the kettle in room, water tasted like sick. I assume someone left descaler in it.
- Decor is poor and room was dated

Overall, not value for money at all.
