I found the room, and facilities what I was expecting, and comfortable. Room and facilities were very tidy and inviting.
It was quite noisy during the night, to start with in the corridor ( people talking to each other , not in hushed tones- and the noise coming into the room)
Also, people holding extended conversations outside my room window in the early hours of the morning (quite loudly)
Both of these are totally out of the control of the staff and business. And just one of those things that happen in accommodation, and people don't always know how loud they are being.
Apart from that, I would have had the few hours sleep I was expecting.

Cheap & close to airport with free shuttle. Bed was comfortable.
Black mold in the corner of the room where there had been a water leak (room 105). Sliding door was unlocked (I checked in very late at night & was a woman travelling alone so this was a bit disconcerting). Food (?) splatters on paintwork.
Very convenient location, and with the yellow bus running to and from the airport as a free service for guests, it was an ideal place to base in between travel days. There is laundry available (requires $1 coins) and the food in the evening was pretty good too.

The hotel is close to the airport and also provides an airport shuttle service.
The complimentary breakfast consisted only of cold items, with no hot food available. If guests wanted hot food, they had to pay extra at the front desk. This was slightly different from the information I saw when booking the hotel, which stated that breakfast was included.
We booked a family room when making the reservation, but after check-in, the front desk initially assigned us a double room. However, after I raised the issue, they quickly adjusted it and changed the room for us. This may have been due to an internal reservation system or room allocation issue.
The dinner in the restaurant was OK and personel was professional (ether way you have no real choice, no place to eat in the nearest neighbourhood).
Both the hotel and, above all, the rooms, are in urgent need of renovation. Windows were not able to protect from street noise and cold air from outside (even with A/C set to max heat, the room was still very cold). The bed linen was stained which is disgusting. I was hoping for Full Kiwi Breakfast but to my disappointment that's not what we got.
