It looked like it had been a nice place at one time but was generally being neglected.w
Cons:

The safety strips in the tub were coming off which made the tub slippery. The shower pressure stung and it was hard to figure out how the faucets worked. And there was no breakfast.

Wonderful-we even changed reservations to return to this particular hotel!!!

Level of customer service exceptional including friendly staff, wonderful cookies for guest, pet bags (with ball) to welcome pets and great breakfast options.!!!

Good value with nice extra's
Pros:

We attended a concert at the Palace, just minutes away. The room was a nice surprise, spacious, very comfortable and clean. Very nice dog walk area, bbq area was a special. They had coffee all day- even had cookies after 4PM

It was well kept. Easy to get to and all were willing to help as much as they could. There was one maid that did her job so nicely that you waned her every day. Priscilla was our main maid. We were so glad she only was off a few days. The kitchen staff made you feel like you were at home all the time they were so delightful to everyone.

Cons:

There were some things wrong with the room. You could not step out of the shower easily. I had to have my husband help me out every single morning. The air conditioner went on and off like a jet airplane zipping around in the room, And towards the end of the vacation, they were white puffs of smoke coming out of the air conditioner. We reported it twice, so I’m not sure what took place after we left.

Nice stay
Pros:

I really like the location of the hotel and that its clean and comfortable. I will continue to stay there when in Albany.

Cons:

The carpet on the stairs looked a bit worn but other than that I was pleased with the hotel.

We spent two damp nights. Don't you spend them too.
Cons:

The hotel was very humid. They had put those strong fans in the corridors, the same kind I used to see at swimming pools to keep the floors from staying wet. But those surfaces were marble or something, not carpet like in the hotel.

This was a sign that there was a problem, and that it was still going on.

I understood it when I entered the room. Everything I touched felt damp. The worst part was that the duvet and pillow set was damp too.

On top of that, in my opinion the bedding was not even clean. But we had no time to deal with this on the first night. We were there with my wife for a very important exam, and we really needed a good sleep. Unfortunately we spent two terrible nights.

On the second night the duvet and pillow set was replaced, but the humidity problem affected it quickly.

We also paid for breakfast, but there were really very few options. It is not worth the money. If you skip the breakfast and sort it out some other way, you will probably be happier.

For these reasons I never recommend this hotel, and I do not think I will come again.
