Lækkert hotel, god service og god beliggenhed tæt på metro
Pros:

Pæne gode værelser. Tæt på metro. Pool og lille fitnessrum.

Cons:

Poolområdet er meget fyldt. Svært at få liggestole og plads i poolen.
Man skal tage metro ind til byen. Man kommer igennem nogle ubehagelige områder, hvis man går.

An unforgettable stay with exceptional service, stunning views, and a warm welcome that made us feel
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at The Stanley. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of choices, and the rooftop views of the Acropolis were absolutely beautiful.

A special thank you to Lina for her warm welcome, kindness, and beautiful smile. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. ❤️

The location is also very convenient for exploring Athens. You can take the metro directly from the airport, which is much cheaper than a taxi (around €9 per person), and the metro station is just steps from the hotel. You’ll also notice the famous yellow taxis around the city.

The Big Bus hop-on hop-off is another great way to explore, and you can buy your tickets at the hotel reception. The bus stop is also just a few steps away.

A little tip: if you miss the Big Bus after visiting the Acropolis, you can actually walk back to the hotel in about 20 minutes through Plaka, with lots of lovely restaurants along the way.

Cons:

One area that could be improved: We noticed that responses to messages sent through Booking.com were sometimes slow. When I mentioned this at reception, I was advised to contact the hotel directly by email instead. As someone who also works in hospitality, I was a little surprised by this, as many guests book through Booking.com and naturally use the platform to communicate with the hotel. We believe responding promptly through Booking.com would make the guest experience even better.

Very pleased with the experience.
Pros:

We loved the rooftop restaurant and pool area! Beautiful view’s and very good food! The breakfast was also quite good.

Cons:

It was a pretty good location but the area around it looked a bit run down.

Clean and comfortable with beautiful rooftop
Pros:

Beautiful rooftop terrace and pool, great place for a pint of Mythos and relaxing with a view of the Parthenon. Quite busy but guess we had to expect that in 35 degrees. Staff were great, especially Katherine (Katerina) who was very pleasant: calm and attentive, friendly but gave us space. Very good location, not far to walk to main attractions and taxis are a plenty if needed. Room was comfortable and very clean. Air con was amazing.

Cons:

Room was supposed to have a city / mountain view. We could almost see the top of the mountain from above the top of the hotel. Balcony was actually looking out into an open area of the hotel. Only 2 lifts for a lot of rooms, constantly in use and was quicker to use stairs despite being on 6th floor, was still quicker to go to floor 9 for the rooftop from the bottom.
