The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the festival. The hotel bumps the pricing 3+.
Pros:

Breakfast was OK. Parking at the hotel was right next to the balloon park. The City closed the street in front but the hotel patrons were given passes to move in and out of parking lot.

Cons:

Hotel had that well used look. Carpet on stairs and hallway was well used.

Chipped paint everywhere dirty floors,bedspread stain, dirty stained curtains , cracked flooring bathroom walls , doors worp , doors pealing and chipped finishes. Refrig not cold. Breakfast the same eggs buscits and Gracey waffles and cereal not not no toaster , baked goods prepackaged. Cost was not worth it

The rooms were dirty , stained bedding and curtains , paint chipping in multi places, beds very squishy , cracked paint in corners , lip floor cracked and chipped , bathroom door all beat up , breakfast prepackage muffsweets , not change during our 5 day stay . No meat , no toast to toast bread but no bread as well ice machine falling apart paid over 300 a night for a crappy place . This was than some motel 6

Comfortable. Rooms were quiet. Great place to enjoy the Balloon Fiesta
Pros:

Had all the amenities. Iron, hair dryer, larger refrigerator, shuttle to the festival. Bed was comfortable. Shower had decent pressure and temperature

Cons:

Although near the balloon park, the neighborhood was sketchy, as often is near freeways. No elevator, handicap accessible is only on 1st floor.

For the price charged with no elevator and treatment, won't stay there again and will not recommend.
Cons:

Hotel does not have elevators to 2nd floor.

Was told my room was not ready at 3pm check in, it was understaffed due to Balloon Fiesta weekend, was told it would be 45 minutes before my room was ready, an hour later it still wasn't ready, was given another room which was appreciated.

When i went to take a shower, found there were no wash clothes, had to call front desk to bring some which I was informed it would 15 minutes before I would get them.

Front Desk agent (female) seemed annoyed with me when I stopped to ask about shuttle to Balloon glow. Like I was bothering her.

I survived. Did my thing in the area and left.

The location was close enough for my purposes of work. The front desk staff during check in were kind.

Cons:

Cleanliness was...not present. There were tons of smears and stains all over the room. Half the plugs didn't work. The scent in the hallway was extremely naseuteating. The beds were difficult to sleep in. The breakfast was...existent. Had someone walk into the room claiming to be staff, while we were present, without knocking, saying they needed to finish adding on molding around the room and held up molding that did not match any molds around the room. The windows didnt keep outside ambient noise out.
