Definite value for money in a wonderful location but lacking facilities
Pros:

Fantastic location just a short walk to the castle and square. Really friendly helpful staff and the rooms were clean at all times

Definitely value for money and would stay again

Very handy to have a 24/7 Carrefour next door too with a lovely cafe across the road and Vibes bar in the Raddison across the road also

Cons:

They advertise “wine and champagne etc” being available but when we turned up we were told there’s no bar but the signs outside the hotel advertise a bar with a big “X” put through the word with tape. Really poor and again the second time I’ve stayed in this chain that something was advertised then not actually there on arrival

Lifts are so tiny and at breakfast time your only choice is to take the stairs as you may be waiting over 15 mins for the lift (not an issue for us really as we were only on the first floor)

Twin rooms are very small and very hot but gracefully the air con was working on our stay

Breakfast was just gorgeous

Cons:

2 elevators for such a big hotel are not enough and they are not properly automated, which creates lines and waiting. No proper iron. And there were too many poorly behaving teenagers, which is no fault of the hotel, of course, but since the common areas are so tiny, they were crowding in the hallways and making a lot of noise. Their ventilation system had no cooling, and it was a very hot day, plus the noise of the ventilation was just awful. I found this experience very uncomfortable.
