Room layout. Housekeeping was less than ideal.
Overall hotel lovely location great disappointed in my meal I had fish and chips very small portion but very expensive not worth it all still hungry after it one small thin fish

Car parking was excessively expensive.
The attitude to checking in early was not good customer service.
No checking to see if the room might be ready, just pay up or wait. Not good.
We would not come back here.
Marlin's Hotel set up suited me right to the ground, room size , services/restroom were just perfect. I love the spartan décor and modern furnishings were just what I ask for when I stay in a Hotel.
There was nothing not to like as far as my taste goes. Although it must be said, if you like big rooms and old fashioned/classic decorations, this hotel might not be the place for you.

Central city Hotel
Staff were unfriendly and never smiled.
Room was more like a hostel than hotel.
Bed was built into wall you could not enter on either side. You had to slide into the bed from the end bathroom door was light glass, which meant there was no privacy.
I would write it a two star hotel not a four star hotel. There was not even a check-in person it was Self service there was no Customer Service involved in this hotel.Would definitely not stay here again

I experienced challenges with my room. (1) The duvet cover was stained, (2) I could not get the television to work, (3) the USB port within the plug socket did not work, (4) I could not get any kind of soft lighting setting, no matter how I tried the combination of light switches. Concerningly, when I politely raised this with the reception staff member upon checking out, although the details were written down, no acknowledgment was offered, or apology given.
