New Orleans Courtyard Hotel by the French Quarter

Nous avons eu une chambre rez de chaussée avec une fenêtre cassée , nous avons demandé à changer de chambre pour une question de sécurité . La chambre qu'on nous a proposé était à côté de l'accueil, donc le matin souvent vert 6h il y a des personnes qui parlaient forts à côté dans l'espace bar, nous avions les sonnettes, le téléphone. Donc très bruyant nous n'avons pas pu nous reposer.
Il n'y avait pas de table dans cette chambre donc rien pour poser nos affaires, le ménage n'était pas fait, nous avons été obligé de le demander.
Un geste commercial a été fait et je remercie la responsable

They said 45 for parking but kept my 55 they put hold in my card

I don’t usually stay in this area, so my sense of direction was off from the get go……..We had to walk thru some “shady” areas to get to areas I was familiar with. (At least in my opinion I considered them a bit too “shady” for my liking). The hotel did provide directions on their advertisement, I just didn’t feel comfortable at times. Once back at our room, I did feel better.

Couple of things

Chambre avec le minimum mais suffisant. Un petit frigo ne serait pas de trop. La climatisation fraîche et dure à régler.

Das Personal war arrogant und genervt. Park Kosten wurden mit 45 USD pro Nacht berechnet. In der Hotelbeschreibung wurden sie mit 35 USD pro Nacht angegeben
Die Zimmer Tür stand im geschlossenen Zustand 1- 2 cm offen. Auf die Frage nach einem anderen Zimmer wurde gesagt, nein, alles belegt, was ich schlichtweg als gelogen behaupte, da wir kaum Gäste gesehen haben. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war karg, kein Tisch oder Schreibtisch. Offene Kleiderstange im Bad. Preis hui, Leistung pfui..

there wasn’t a table and mini fridge

We had a room close to the lobby and people were coming in and out most of the night. Laughing, talking loudly, going on and out the door. People were let in to talk and party with the night staff. Glad to check out of the hotel.

The overhead light didn't work, the shower in the bathroom was horrible as barely any water came out of the showerhead, it took forever to get any hot water, and the room was street side (I easily heard people walking by talk and street noise, including trolley & buses)

I asked for a downstairs unit because my COPD makes it difficult to climb stairs with my suitcase. Instead of a room with no stairs, the room was in the back of the property with several two steps rises in the sidewalk & into unit.

No hot water in the shower until the night before we checked out. Otherwise, everything was great.

More refreshments in the lobby or light breakfast options

Everything. Need to ask for everything, parking was added on after we are already there. Doesn’t state in booking the hotel.

Room didn't get serviced even although it had been requested.
