Very good choice of hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of food available. Very close to the railway station with a 30 minute journey time to central Oslo.

Cons:

The room had limited space to hang up clothing.

Great River View and Comfortable Stay in Drammen
Pros:

Back to Rate Quality Hotel River Station after a long time. I had stayed here earlier during a business trip, and it was nice to return again. This time I was upgraded to a beautiful river-facing room on the 14th floor. The view of Drammen was excellent and very relaxing.
The hotel has good Wi-Fi and a very good breakfast selection. Due to a strike, the restaurant for dinner was closed, but the staff managed the situation well and arranged pizza for guests, which was appreciated.

Cons:

One small thing that could be improved is the room storage arrangement. There was no proper locker/storage space and not enough hangers for jackets and clothes.

Cons:

I går hadde jeg booket hotellrom. Når jeg kom inn i resepsjonen klokka 19:00, sa jeg “hei” med et hyggelig smil og sa at jeg hadde booket et rom.

Hun sa verken hei tilbake eller ønsket meg velkommen. Hun så på meg på en veldig nedlatende og rar måte og sa: “Du må ringe personen så de kan komme til deg.”

Jeg sa: “Hvilken person snakker du om? Jeg har booket rom her, jeg er gjesten.”

Hun så enda mer rart på meg og sa: “Er DU gjesten?”

Da sa jeg: “Hvordan skal en gjest se ut egentlig? Må gjesten være blond med blå øyne for å være gjest? Kan man ikke ha svart hår og brune øyne?”

Jeg sa også at hun var veldig rar i måten hun snakket til meg på, og at hun behandlet meg uten respekt. Etterpå begynte hun bare å unngå situasjonen. Til slutt tok hun navnet mitt og ga meg rommet.

Ærlig talt, dette er første gang på over 10 år i Norge at jeg føler noe som ligner på rasisme.

Jeg kom sent etter en forferdelig opplevelse på hotel K7 i Oslo som ingen burde booke,alt gikk supert. Ble møtt av en kjempetrivelig nattevakt som fikset og ordnet for meg. Rommet var rent,pent og aldeles perfekt. Var i dyreste laget tenkte jeg når jeg bestilte,men hadde ikke andre muligheter og det var det nærmeste og billigste hotellet nær stasjon. Våkna opp til ei trivelig dame som spurte om jeg hadde sovet godt og om jeg hadde lyst på frokost. Jeg var i dårlig form,men smilene og behandlingen gjorde at jeg fikk sovet utmerket og fikk kommet meg på toget som jeg bomma to minutter på siste mulighet på dagen før. Anbefales på det sterkeste og det var verdt hver krone Mvh Odd Ingar Den Rotlause
