Access to the airport
Got the room with people already inside
I have stayed here twice in the past 3 months. You cannot beat the convenience of being directly connected to the PHL airport. The rooms are nothing fancy but they have mini fridges and are clean. The gym is also quite nice.
My biggest issue is actually with the Marriott app. Both times I stayed, I requested a mobile key and both times, the app made me check in at the front desk. The last time, we waited in line for over an hour due to a system shutdown and weather delays. The app told me my room was ready at 5:37pm. I had already noted a late check-in. We got there a bit after 10 and weren’t in our room until well after 11. That kind of delay when traveling with a small child is the worst. If the app had just issued my mobile key, we would have been able to go to our room and skip the chaos of all the people from checking in with canceled flights.
It was attached to the airport so very convenient to get a good night sleep for a delay we had to deal with
Booking made it seem like the breakfast was included but it was not. You need to change the listing so it says that the food breakfast is for purchase or additional charge. Very misleading. The room was hot and it took forever for the ac to cool it down.
Habitación muy confortable.
Location
All good
Restaurant bar . Bon rapport qualité prix. Beau cadre .Personnel très avenant et sympathique
Chambre déco vieillissante
We stayed here after a long day of travel over the July 4 holiday. To the hotel’s credit, we were upgraded to a lovely suite, which was spacious, comfortable and exactly what we needed after a delayed flight.
Unfortunately, the arrival experience was a real disappointment. The lobby was filled with people sleeping on sofas, chairs and even on the floor. It honestly looked more like an emergency shelter than a premium airport Marriott charging over US$300 a night. I appreciate that flight disruptions happen, but seeing the public areas turned into makeshift sleeping quarters created a poor first impression and didn’t reflect the standard you’d expect from this brand.
Finding the hotel from the airport was also more difficult than it should have been, with very little clear direction.
One final frustration was arriving late after a five-hour flight delay, only to discover the beer and root beer we’d requested weren’t available because the bar had already closed. It wasn’t the biggest issue, but after such a long travel day it added to the feeling that the guest experience hadn’t been fully thought through.
The suite itself was excellent, and the staff who assisted us were courteous. But the overall arrival experience didn’t match the quality of the room. With better management of the lobby during major travel disruptions and a simple late-night grab-and-go option for drinks and snacks, this could easily have been a five-star stay.
