The front desk staff (Mary and her supervisor I think) on the night shift are amazing. They helped figure out a stressful situation at check in when I was very tired at 1am. Mary was very kind and calming. I appreciate them both.
Nothing
Room was filthy.
Front desk staff was ignorant to what was going on.
The room was good. The property and the surrounding area was awsome.
The over night parking fee was a bit much.
Andrew was a great ambassador to your facility…give him a raise!!! The history behind the train station is fascinating. The Lobby with the light/laser show was awesome. The aquarium was very nice And the pond and old railway tracks just added to the experience.
There were a few things that could have been done better but very minimal so no need to state. You stay there for the mystic.
comfortable bed and temperature
good location
visible mildew under the rim of the toilet
mildew in bath/shower
parking (wasn't given the option of finding parking on my own)
Location
Room. Needs major renovations.
The room was neat and clean once we were able to finally get in!
Our room's stated check-in time was 4:00 p.m. We arrived just before 4:00 p.m. and checked in, but were told our room was not ready. We were unable to access our room until after 5:00 p.m., more than an hour after the advertised check-in time.
When we returned to get our room key, we were repeatedly told that we had not checked in. The person who had completed the check-in process was holding seats at an event, but the other member of our party, who had been present during check-in, was at the front desk. Despite explaining the situation, the staff insisted that the person who checked in had to be present.
Only after the front desk employee who had originally checked us in confirmed that we had, in fact, already checked in did the other two front desk employees allow us access to our room. The entire interaction felt unnecessary, confrontational, and harassing. Combined with the delayed room availability, it created a very frustrating start to our stay.
The property it self was beautiful!
I paid more than what my booking amount was plus the valet. My booking was 355 plus 50 valet but I ended up paying 426$ altogether. Not too much more, but still.
When we got to our room, there was a used towel in the bathroom hanging on the shower curtain rod and there was hair around the bathroom still. Kind of disappointed with the amount I paid for one night.
I loved how clean the hotel was and how beautiful the environment was. The staff were kind and attentive and housekeeping staff were kind and helpful.
