A Nice Four Night Stay
Pros:

The Restaurant staff at both breakfast and at the rooftop bar were always friendly and attentive. The same was true of the Housekeeping staff servicing our room. Even the security guard at the front door always had a smile and a salute for us.

Cons:

The common areas on each floor have chairs to relax in but there was no air conditioning so one could not truly enjoy the space. I would have liked to have had some umbrellas available for the poolside lounge chairs and the seating area on the rooftop to provide shade from the sun.

Pros:

Staff in restaurant were all great. Very attentive. Room attendants were great as well. One day they even cleaned our room twice. Not sure what that was all about.

Cons:

At checkin we inquired if they had currency exchange. We indicated that the Golden Tulip Lucknow had, they said to return at 9pm and they coild assist. At 9pm they said that they guy who could help was not in Agra but could call a tuk tuk to take us someplace. Very odd. If they couldn't help they should have told us at the time. 9pm is too late to look for a currency exchange place.

Cons:

Room was on sharing basis, we could hear people talking in the adjacent room. Asked staff to change the room but no response. Not good experience. It should be clearly mentioned that room is sharing basis with just one door in between.

Good but could be better!
Pros:

The rooms were great, breakfast was good and the location was decent!

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was as good as having a shower with a dripping tap over your head. Temperature of the water had its own mind.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed
Pros:

The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The room was lovely - clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and there was a chilled, relaxed ambience in the bar. We had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave.
