The TV screen was broken, reported it nothing happened, the headboard was not attached to the wall properly and made a cracking noise every time someone moved in the bed and the last night a running water noise from behind the wall started and kept us up all night, reported to staff when I eventually found them, got a standard apology, no attempt to make sure I was happy or offer and compensation even after showing them the video of the running water noise. After many good stays here I believe it has changed owners and I will not be returning

no hot water in the room or a shower that worked . the breakfast was awful . we changed rooms and the second one hadn't been cleaned , mucky cups bin not emptied and the shower was cold .

My stay was convenient but not comfortable.

Not clean enough.
Very noisy area
There was no coffee or tea in my room, only sugar was place on that tray.
There was no notice about alarm test or what so ever but the alarm just made a huge noise at 11pm and no apology or explanation in the morning.
Carpet was smelly.
I felt very unsafe
No provision of fan was made.
Plugs sockets are far away from the bed.

Useful parking facility

Cons:

Breakfast was very poor. Between 8-10am, arrived at 9am and only toast left. Appears there was only toast, cereal, crossaints and muffins as options, so no really variety.
Property wasn’t the cleanest either, hairs in bathroom. Very warm room during heatwave with only small fan.
Generally not in a nice area of Rochester from what we saw.

This hotel was absolutely filthy and generally appalling.

Cons:

There were breadcrumbs all over the bed. Thick dirt and dust above the bed and spilt coffee all over the wall. The bathroom was antiquated with mold all over the shower and shower curtain. Disgustingly filthy.

Room was clean and quite spacious. Plenty of tea coffee and milk. Comfortable bed and roomy wardrobe. The continental breakfast was plentiful although would have been good to have some form of fresh fruit.

Cons:

Bathroom in need of an update. Basin hot water tap not working in the morning and the shower was cold. Not able to double lock the yale lock on the door at night although there was a chain on the door. As everyone walked past this door it was not the safest place to give a lone female traveller
