The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.
The view of the river was nice.
The location was very good for me. Everything I needed was within walking distance.
The shower was useless. The bathroom is in need of up grading.
No toiletries were on offer.
The room itself is in need of redecorating.

Bed linen and towels were clean. Beds comfortable. Croissant at breakfast was good.
Both my friends had problems with the showers, one with water either too hot or too cold but you couldn't mix it. The other leaked from the hose. Our rooms were not really clean with bits and fluff. The basin was cracked, taps needed mending, windowsill crumbling paint, one of my lights didn't work. The toaster caught fire and the toast wouldn't eject, the employee wasn't interested and didn't help or replace it.

Nice room.easy to find pleasant staff
The bed was comfortable
After a long journey, on arrival there was not a member of staff available to book in and the auto booking screen did not work, we waited almost 10 minutes to be booked in. Car park not in use so had to use a different carpark, which was free but had very steep shabby steps to climb up to the hotel. The room was very bleak, no character and decor was very grey and dingy, also, shower curtain pole was covered in rust and mould around the edge of the bath. Now the continental breakfast... consisted of , if you eat any of it, cold boiled egg, cereal, toast, croissants , cheap watery yoghurt, pre-packed sweaty cheddar or red leceister . A couple came in and cleared the breakfast bar of everything except cereals and toast and then left ! When we did see a member of staff the other patrons were told that the croissant were ordered in and there would not be any more available and that they could not boil any more eggs. Plenty of people left hungry and disappointed. On check out the staff were still very ellusive so put our keys behind reception and left.
very reasonable price, good location, bed was comfortable
The shower hose needs to be replaced, it leaks and has come to the end of its life
Cheap and cheerful..and last min
That's the hardest bed I've ever slept on
Had to sleep on top of three pillows to feel comfortable
Bed was comfy and bath was massive
There was no hot food even though they have a menu online and breakfast is continental. No fried breakfast, bread was stale counters where dirty and we was first in there. Lift didn’t work to floor 3.. days they have food hygiene of 5 but must be from a long time ago..
Loved proper price for comfortable bed
Did not like very lazy barman's attitude to job quality who served breakfast in basement.
Stayed for 1 night due to work. Website states restaurant and parking on site. This is not the case. Parking was down a rather poor area with 3 flights of steep external steps up a narrow walk way to get back to the hotel. Being a single lady travelling I felt unsafe. I then had to walk through this poor area to find an evening meal with no luck. The area is very deprived with shops boarded up and broken glass on the walkways. My initial thought was im not staying however as work had paid I had no choice but to stay. The corridors to the room were dark mould in places with old bedding in the corridors which the cleaners had not removed. The fire exit was drafty and full.of mould and holes so was not safe. The breakfast was supposed to be a buffet with hot option, however what was laid on was self service toast, (no serving tongs) croissant uncovered, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt and cheese out in open which meant they had got warm, cereal in dispensers which looked old. The overall hygiene was poor.
The only positive was the room was clean, large with an amazing shower. The hotel has potential but its been left in a poor state.
