Visit and look
Staff nice and friendly.
Hotel quite dated. Bed was small, shower didnt work, tv kept turning off due to lack of signal. An alarm went off early Sunday morning and woke us up. Breakfast was disappointing. Just cereal and toast. Not fruit. Water was cold for the tea.
The room size was okay and view of the medway was nice to see, fairly clean!
Superior room..thats a joke!! No shower, other than one attached to bath tap! Grouting incomplete. Bedroom window cannot be shut at all, as distorted ...christ knows what it will be like in the cold winter months! TV didn't work, they said should..but they tried and couldn't sort! They couldn't move us to another room as only single left!! Bedroom was a okay in size but mattress hard / lumpy, like an old mattress. Our laugh was written on flyer in room saying ' start your day with a delicious breakfast available' This consists of cereal, Yogart. Toast...what a joke no offer of English breakfast..or even egg on toast or bacon roll..that was it! Serviette with knife and fork on the tables....' tell me what is the fork to be used for?? The cereal spoons were mainly serving spoons (huge) although i found a couple of desert spoons under the 15 or so serving spoons! We saw alot of disappointed faces, walk in and then out again!
Awful accommodation so no recommendation from us... we expect a refund!
Vue magnifique sur la Tamise.
Matelas usés. On sent les ressorts.
The staff to welcome us were very friendly and helpful.
We were able to park our car easily behind the hotel and leave it there over the weekend.
The room had a fantastic view of the river Medway and the Rochester castle and cathedral in the distance!
The bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities with the little touch of some biscuits, were a welcome addition. The TV was big with access to many channels.
The shower was quite powerful and hot.
The location was perfect for our visit to Rochester and Chatham, situated in between the two places
The bathroom was very small and the taps were loose and dripping, so I had to put a towel in the sink overnight to stop the noise of it. I reported it but nothing happened to fix it. The shower was extremely stiff to operate and required two hands and a lot of effort to turn it on and off.
The breakfast was very mediocre. Very little choice of things to eat compared to other hotels
I’ve been to; no hot food; some cereals, juice, toast, sticks of cheese, muffins, croissants and yoghurt. There was tea and coffee but no alternative teas, such as mint or fruit. The second morning for breakfast, there were no yoghurts or croissants at all. The breakfast room had no atmosphere, it was a bit dark and dingy. It could have done with some music or radio.
Nothing
Everything
At der var rent og pænt
At vores nabo larmede hele natten.
One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at
Chatham is crack head central.Really horrible place
Our room wss nice
We had to change room due to fulty shower.
Two single mattresses we're fitted onto our double bed.
Was uncomfortable.
Staff were nice
Breakfast was horrible. No cooked food
Quiet room from out side traffic
Shower was good.
Room was cold and you hear people in tje room above walking around and closing doors.
The view from our room.
Noise from next door room, sound insulation is a big issue, then someone ran a tap and left running other side, we had to call up the night manager as it was impossible to sleep. Then the fan next door did not turn off, so we had to call manager back to switch it off. Bar area is depressing and continental breakfast was awful. Would be pushed to stay again.
