Disappointed
Pros:

The location was great. The bedroom was spacious enough for my family. Shower head was very powerful.

Cons:

The bed was not comfortable. Cleanliness wasn't great, we found popcorn on the floor and on the sofa bed. The hotel is a little bit run down, the wall paper was coming off one of the walls. The bath tub was broken.

We had a great stay and for what we paid we were happy
Pros:

Loved the location! Check in was good. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was nice.
The windows were lovely and big and the curtains were thick blocking out light.

Cons:

It was a little rough around the edges. Damage to walls, some areas a bit dirty. Lovely wall lights- didn’t work. Tea tray- no coffee. Lovely TV- missing battery cover on the remote.

Clean, friendly and convenient
Pros:

The staff were great. The rooms were clean and decent for the price. Location brilliant and a short walk from the station.

Cons:

Unfortunately our bed was lopsided. One half on the mattress fell into a dip and it was very difficult to get any real sleep as it felt like you were slipping

good for solo travellers and short stay, very close to sea and train station and centre of town. overall good and recomm
Pros:

the location is perfect especially for solo travellers. just need to cross the road and your on beach.

Cons:

the sheet is clean but just some dust.

Overall pleasant
Pros:

The property is located on the beachfront so that was very handy and easy to get to the beach. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Appreciated the tv, kettle and tea and coffee.

Cons:

The shower was a bit of a pain as it had come undone from the taps on arrival so getting it going was hard to start with.
We were staying on the top floor which for an asthmatic with a fear of lifts it was very difficult to climb all of the stairs without feeling out of breath and faint. My partner used this lift at one point and expressed it was quite rickety.
Parking was a bit of a pain also.

Cheap but not cheerful
Pros:

It was very central for Eastbourne right at the pier

Cons:

The room could do with a good scrub-walls had grime on it.
The shower in my room didn’t work and couldn’t contact anyone as reception isn’t staffed until 2pm.

Perfect location, great views, good value
Pros:

Second stay here. Always perfect for the air show, perfect location and great views out towards the pier from our room. Easy check-in and earlier than other hotels. Would happily stay here again.
