Clean and comfortable hotel in great location.
Pros:

Great location, rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very nice, food was delicious and a variety of drink choices.

Pros:

Hotel restaurant was excellent - food and service. The location was ideal for walkability to shops, park, restaurants & boardwalk. Bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Room temp was difficult to regulate (ac and heat separate). The tv control (remote) was indecipherable.

A delightfully divine experience.
Pros:

We went for my birthday weekend and the staff kindly surprised us with a birthday foil on the door and a lovely bottle of wine in the room! The location next to the city park and lake at the edge of downtown was perfect. Very walkable to other cafes, restaurants, shops, the lakefront and cultural district. The room was huge, clean and comfortable and the bed in the king room was MASSIVE! We went to the restaurant for happy hour oysters and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the Fanny Bay oysters and the prep skills of the raw bar staff. Their seafood cold chain is on point and the shucks were impeccably clean! 10/10 would go again

Cons:

Nothing negative to report at all, just one suggestion: There were really interesting and beautiful historical photos on the hallway walls of rowing teams, passenger vessels and structures on the lake that I would have loved to have had some interpretation panels below to know what and who I was looking at. I feel like that would be a great opportunity to communicate the heritage of the area through storytelling. Maybe something to think about partnering with the heritage center or history department students at UBCO to create in the future!

I would not stay there again.
Pros:

There was a lovely lady at the check-in desk on August 31. She was very pleasant and very helpful.

Cons:

The rest of the staff never acknowledged my existence. The beds were well used. The location was noisy lots of homelessness.. My room was not very clean. There was some substance below the toilet tissue dispensers that looked quite suspicious and the pictures certainly didn’t depict what the rooms actually look like. It was kind of gross to be honest.

I would stay again!
Pros:

The hotel was close to the beach and we requested a room in the back to avoid the hwy noise.

Overall I’d definitely stay here again. The room was absolutely gorgeous.
Pros:

I loved the location! Right across from the park and boardwalk! Just a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops.

Cons:

We had about 20 tiny ants in our bathroom and in front of the kitchenette. Didn’t really care but someone who is scared of bugs might. Didn’t tell front desk but didn’t hear anything further.

Location is very close to beach, city park, bernard avenue.
Staff are nice and welcoming.
Room is clean.
Free coffee, tea in the morning. Cold water was helpful to beat summer heat.

Cons:

Hotel structure can use a few renovs like in the other reviews.
If you are sensitive to road noise, it can be loud.

We liked Kelowna.
Pros:

Nice room but on main road and very busy. Good location despite this, opposite City Park.
