Reasonable hotel spoiled by noisy pub next door
Pros:

Good sized room, reasonably well equipped and comfortable.

Cons:

Decor very dated, a bit tatty and very tired. The pub next door had loud music blaring until God knows what hour. I didn't have earplugs and it was impossible to sleep while it was playing.

It’s a great stay
Pros:

Very close to all the shops and the hospital
And what next to pub and restaurant?

Cons:

It wasn’t their fault more the pub behind the hotel, because it was so hot we had the window open and the staff at the end of the shift in the pub next door were drinking till 12 o’clock, in the pub garden, laughing and screaming

Cons:

We did not stay at this hotel due to the previous review’s regarding the bed bugs. I suffer badly with allergies and we decided not to take the risk. I only wish I have read the reviews before booking as I knew I would not have got a refund, a lesson well learned, I will in future always read the reviews before booking. We ended up at the Travel lodge on Abingdon Road, it was very clean and comfortable.
