Loved being in a historical building in the quarter. The location was is easy walking distance to everything. The room was charming and very comfortable. We loved the courtyard and and the bar.
Although the bathroom was very pretty, there was nowhere to put any personal items. We had to keep our toiletries on the desk and carry whatever we needed into the bathroom each time we needed something. Shelves or a small cabinet would have been helpful.
Perfect little Boutique Hotel with a European flavor right in the heart of the French Quarter. Rooms and bathroom are large, with a big shower. Big comfortable bed. Small fridge. The interior Courtyard is a great place to sit and listen to the fountain. Breakfast is very good, only Wednesday through Sunday. Staff is great and very helpful. This is my number one choice for staying in the Quarter. You get the small boutique Hotel vibe and avoid the big bustling crowds you get at the Sonesta, which is right across the street, or the Monteleone, which is just a block down the street.
Wish breakfast was served every day.
An incident out of the hotel’s control occurred during our first night. When reported to the reception on the following morning, professional action was immediately taken by the personnel and compensation for the inconvenience was offered. We saw how customer service oriented the personnel is. It was greatly appreciated. We feel there is no reason to write details of the incident on social medias since it was very well taken care of.
Furthermore, we must mention that interior court, which is very european, was beautiful and allowed some quietness from the noise of the lively street.
We liked everything! We would go back without any hesitation.
WiFi was terrible
Super close to Bourbon street and all the activities, but not loud or anything. The room was super nice and clean, it was more spacious than I expected. The breakfast was nice and the courtyard was beautiful. Overall super nice place to stay!
My husband and I just spent a week at the hotel Mazarin in New Orleans and it is a wonderful place to stay! It is elegant, clean and well taken care of. The people however, are the best part of hotel Mazarin. Namely William and Stacy at the front desk and Monica in the breakfast restaurant. William and Stacy are the epitome of what hospitality should be and can answer any questions that you may have regarding the French Quarter or the hotel.
And Monica in the restaurant is an asset to their hospitality! Not only is she excellent at her job, but she goes out of her way to assure that her customers start the day off well!
We will definitely return!
I really love staying at this place. Close to everything.
We just returned from a 3 day/2 night stay at Hotel Mazarin. It is a quaint hotel just a block off Bourbon St with a nice center courtyard. The staff was super friendly and attentive; however, the interior reception is looking a little shabby and dated. Our room was quite leather and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The A/C worked well, but the room did have a musty smell. My biggest complaint is the noise level from the street below. SUPER loud at night with noise from overnight partiers late, and early morning garbage and delivery trucks early hard to get a good night sleep. If you book make sure to ask for a quiet room and pack ear plugs.
Location, staff
Was a leak from above room but staff corrected it promptly and satisfactorily
Great staff helpful and knowledgeable
Clean rooms bar was great
Parking was attrocious don’t park across the street in recommended deck. Too many impatient people trying to leave at once. Plus no bellman for your luggage. We parked in other parking deck 1 block away and it was cheaper
Air conditioner was extremely noise when it shut off.
Central location within the French Quarter. Walking distance to many restaurants. Beautiful courtyard. Friendly staff.
A/C was noisy.
The night and day Concierges were so good at their jobs. The room decor was just what you want when visiting this southern city.
The breakfast was great but only one waitress on the day we used it.
Valet parking was great. The location is perfect for visiting the French Quarter. Access to the property from the I-10 freeway is good. The price is very good. The property has two restaurant/bars.
Location
The reception staff were rude , made us wait all day for a room when other people were coming in and getting checked in straight away . I complained and so then a room was free ! Was exhausted so once in the room went to sleep . To then be woken by someone walking into my room . Apparently they hadn’t put us in the system so the room was showing vacant on the system to then be given to someone else . Appalling service
