We arrived with high expectations after reading the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, apart from the beautiful location and views, our five-day stay was disappointing — especially considering this is a four-star hotel and the price we paid.

The biggest issue was the attitude of the staff, particularly Angelica at reception. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. Check-in was rushed, nothing about the hotel was properly explained, and even asking about the spa seemed to cause annoyance. Throughout our stay, we experienced unfriendly responses and what appeared to be staff talking about us behind our backs. Strangely, certain other guests seemed to receive a very different level of friendliness. We were left with the impression that we were perceived as less profitable guests: we are relatively young, spent most days outside the hotel and rarely ate or drank there. It seemed that guests who spent more at the hotel received noticeably warmer treatment.

The spa experience summed it up. Despite the hotel advertising itself as a spa hotel, using the spa seemed to be an inconvenience to the staff. When we followed the required procedure to access it, Angelica soon appeared and, again in an irritated tone, told us that the sauna would take time to heat up. We had not complained or rushed anyone — we simply wanted to use the facilities the hotel advertises.

There were other frustrations. In 30°C weather, our room had no fridge and no cold water from the tap. When we asked reception to refill our water bottles from the hotel’s water dispenser, they refused and instead offered to sell us bottled water. This left the unfortunate impression that generating additional spending mattered more than basic guest comfort.

The final disappointment came on our last day. As we were leaving before breakfast, we asked the day before for a breakfast box and received it that evening. What we received was frankly a mockery.

Ne pas avoir été prévenu en amont que l'hôtel est hyper au sommet d'une côte. J'ai cru que j'allais y laissé les pneus de ma voiture de 20 ans.. quant à monter à pied, pour les.personnes cardiaques comme moi, il faut réfléchir à deux fois.

Quant au personnel, sœurs et frères sourires 😡 hors mis le personnel affecté aux jardins et.piscine, extrêmement courtois. Au service du petit déjeuner une catastrophe. Accueillez les clients avec le sourire et ajouterais je sans sexisme...

Das Zimmer: extrem hellhörig, die Reinigungskräfte haben morgens um 08:30 Uhr mit der recht lautstarken Reinigung der umliegenden Zimmer begonnen, Zimmer ohne Kühlschrank/ Minibar. Man kann also keine Getränke für sich kaltstellen. Einrichtung der Zimmer lieblos (keine Bilder/ Deko, kein Ganzkörperspiegel). Badezimmer ohne nennenswerte Ablagen für 2 Personen. Frühstück von 07:30-09:30 Uhr für Urlaub zu früh zu ende.

Die Auffahrt schreckt vielleicht durch die Steilheit etwas ab. Aber man hat sich schnell daran gewöhnt.

You should keep in mind that the hotel is located on a steep slope, so if you go into town, you will have to pay some effort for the incredibly beautiful view.n
