Rooms were nice kinda pricey but breakfast was included and it was a great food. staff not so much ive been trying to get a hold of someone for a week because i was booked twice by accident i called the day of check n and also cancelled on my end and sent a email to staff the day I mistakenly double booked i was reassured by manager they would wave the fee. But i was still charged a portion of the price 2 room are still shown on my account under active. 1 allows me to request a invoice and the other one does not so i dont know how what exactly i was charged for i just see it on my account. Basically they are not very great on customer service and customer satisfaction
Size of the room
See the ugly buildings around
Awesome gym, brilliant club named the View at 39th floor
Wi-Fi on payment
A lovely hotel but a lot to pay considering there was no breakfast or pool etc.
More facilities or slightly cheaper.
Clean.
The location is very good and the breakfast was very good too. They provided two twin/queen beds.
The hotel is very big and every evening, I would see big queues at all the check-in desks? On our check-in day, not even all the desks were manned. The hotel should fix this, it was very very disappointing.
Very dirty and dusty closet, mini fridge also dirty with food from previous stays. Even the coffee maker was so dirty that I could not make early morning coffee in the room and had to buy at the pantry.
I don't know why these things cannot be taken care of by the Hotel management.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Probably just the city. San Francisco is dirty
Veloce check in e check out
Molto caos
The staff was very friendly, even though we checked in late. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable while it was squeaky? We loved the breakfast buffet that was included in our stay!
The valet parking fee of $92 was very excessive! We paid to park in a garage nearby (10 minute walk).
Rooms are small and dark. No pool. Staff is very nice. Check in was easy and efficient. Not a great selection of TV channels or apps. I definitely would not stay here again.
This is perhaps the coolest Marriott property in all of the Bay Area. I stayed here a long time ago for work travel and with some very fond memories. Upon returning, I found this place is even cooler and more of a luxury hotel than I remembered it being.
They have a real and fully functioning M Club lounge which does close pretty late, but it was late enough in the day where me and my coworkers could escape to for a quiet evening chat.
The View bar upstairs is also a pretty cool area to check out also! Valet parking is outrageously expensive, but not surprising considering this is the 2nd most expensive real estate area in the USA.
The location is pretty convenient with easy access to Moscone Center and several restaurants in the area.
It’s hard to imagine that you could feel “at home” in a large hotel in the middle of a huge city but that’s the feeling I had from the very beginning of my experience at the Marriott Marquis Union Square. I’m not kidding when I say every single employee I interacted with was so kind and welcoming, from the valet to the check-in to the bellman to the waitresses at the View Lounge on the 39th floor, to the security guy out front who tutored us on how to schedule a Weymo pick-up. We also asked him how far Mel’s Diner was from the hotel and he literally walked us 50 ft down the block and pointed to Mel’s Diner, on the corner! I have to mention the beds were very comfortable, clean and fresh! Overall 10 out of 10 experience for me, I’ll definitely stay there again!
Honestly I can’t think of anything!
