The room was quite large, which was good, and the first front desk attendant I spoke with was friendly. That's where the good ends.
The furniture was dingy, old, and dirty. The air in the room was ridiculously humid and took hours to cool down and clear out with AC. The floor was spongy in spots, likely from water damage. And the worst part was the cockroaches. In our first room, on the first night, we found two live cockroaches next to the bed. We packed up and asked to be moved to a different room on the opposite side of the motel. This room had a couple of mosquitoes and we inspected the entire room and at the end turned to face another cockroach on the wall, this one even bigger. We packed up again and I went to ask for a refund. The front desk attendants were doing a shift tradeoff, and the woman who was coming in literally shut and locked the front door in my face after I already walked up and pointed me to the window. I showed her pictures and videos of the roaches and asked for a refund. She told me she refunded my stay to booking.com and I would need to reach out to booking.com to get the refund. So I did, and the booking.com customer service rep I spoke to said that it did not look like anything was done on the hotel's end, and the rep had to reach out to the hotel again on my behalf to get my refund. I'm glad I got my money back but that was all ridiculous.

Staff was kind and helpful
Hotel needs repair, our door was hanging off hinges so it had to be slammed shut, none of there doors into the facility shut automatically, found them left open several times, which is a security issue. Everything that was metal in the bathroom, was completely rusted, reason being the bathroom fan did not work, would fill the whole hotel room with steam. Several of the lights seemed like wiring was going out because they would flicker when bumped, and the main light switch literally made shocking sounds when pressed. Also after the wall lamps next to the bed didn't work, found out they were plugged into a surge protector that was missing the bottom prong and plugged into a loose outlet that did not have a cover on it. I could go on and on. This place needs inspected. Worst stay of our trip.
Good value at an excellent location. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was exceptional.
They didn't provide any sliced bread and toaster at the free breakfast area. I was told that was eliminated due to COVID.

Upon arrival we were faced with one room not cooling off to a comfortable temperature. We notified the front desk and were informed they had did not have a maintenance person to deal with that at that time and not other room was available to switch us off.
Second room had a number of roaches. We contacted the front desk and they had not solution for that issue as well.
We were assured they would consider a credit of amount undetermined .

Wallpaper peeling off of walls, flooring was slipping with gaps between the planks, bleach stains on comforters, decor is from the 70’s, literally. Stains on the walls, just run down and dingy

needs a lot of upgrades. Floors have been upgraded. Stayed last year same time and floors had been upgraded but no more upgrades done since last visit.
Roaches came out the last night I stayed.
