Pros:

The room was clean and the staff were super helpful. Due to an issue with my original room, I was promptly moved into another room. I originally booked "room only", though I was offered a complimentary breakfast for my inconvenience. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient.

Wes on reception went above and beyond
He asked us where we would like our room and I said near the pool he gave us a room right next to it
Our air con didn't work and he came to check
and said he would report it .. meanwhile gave us voucher for free drinks..
Had meal in bar staff there also excellent

Cons:

Very small bathroom difficult to open door wit
hout squashing yourself against the toilet
Bed was also a small double
Pool and changing rooms far too hot
And changing space inadequate and dated

STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY.
BREAKFAST GREAT BUT TOO LIMITED ON TIME. PAID A PREMIUM FOR A HOTEL WITH A POOL WHICH (A) WAS. CLOSED. (B) VERY LIMITED OPENING TIMES! JUKUSI WAS CRAMPT & CHEAP. VERY DISAPOINTING. PARKING WAS GREAT. LOUNGE WAS NICE. ...WOULD AVOID REBOOKING AS THERE A FAR BETTER PLACES AROUND..

Cons:

Gym opening hours are far too tight. Breakfast limiting time. Way over Priced for limited service. Gym very disapointing.

Pros:

Good location, easy to drive into town centre yet easy to get back on fast roads to continue your journey the next day. As always with Holiday Inn, it's nice to have a pool to unwind in after a long day on the road, especially in this summer's heat. Air con in the room was properly controllable and worked well, again a big plus in this summer's heat.

Cons:

Hard beds! Room a bit small but okay for one night.

A well equipped, clean Hotel with excellent Staff and Facilities.

Wedding stay
Pros:

We stayed for 2 nights on the 17th/18th July the first thing i noticed was the warm reception from the staff and i felt they were glad that i had chosen Holiday Inn to stay at. Our room was super clean and the bathroom was spotless with some tea and coffee we could use which was very welcome. Had drinks in the bar and again super polite and friendly staff and the bar area was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was superb the choice was great hot breakfast cold breakfast what ever you wanted. The manager and staff are a credit to holiday inn and cant praise them enough keep up the great standards.

Great stay
Pros:

The staff were so attentive and friendly.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi on site was handy we took our 2 year old swimming and after she enjoyed her free ice cream from the bar.

Cons:

For me the bed was a bit soft but this is just personal preference and wouldn't stop me from booking again
