Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff - fabulous restaurant recommendation. Fabulous bar for drinks and restaurant was a lovely dining experience with a beautiful setting, good service and delicious food.

Beautiful, historic building, renovated so well, welcoming, friendly, amazing food & staff, recommed
Pros:

Hotel Victoria is amazing, the staff are brilliant, rooms really comfortable, breakfast is literally amazing and has something for everyone/diet and so much choice/freshness, gym is really well equipped, social areas to relax in. Would totally recommend. As a solo traveller it was a treat from the cost, yet I'm really glad I did - and it has generous check in and out times, the amount was only slightly more for two people and this would be amazing value.

Cons:

Loved it all - only thing, if room is facing the bars, and like to have fresh air (or even with windows closed if a light sleeper), it is noisy Fri/Sat nights especially with the bars & music until 1am ish and then deliveries in the morning. Yet the location and area more than balances this and I would still book again, just something to be aware off if useful

A brilliant stay at a wonderful hotel in Stavanger. Hotel Victoria is a true gem!
Pros:

We only have words of high praise for Hotel Victoria! The location is superb, right on Skagenskaien with a no more than 10 minutes walk to any of the city sights. The staff was very courteous and efficient. The lobby, public spaces and shop, stylish and well appointed. Our room was on the fourth (top) floor overlooking Vågen, the historic harbor and across it, the extremely picturesque old Stavanger town. The room was spacious with well thought out furniture and lighting. The bathroom had good enough space, quality toiletries and the same view to the harbor! Now to the breakfast: The breakfast room is quite elegant with attention to every detail. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety of food and drink and the taste was excellent. We want to especially give a shout out to the lady in charge of the breakfast who was amazing in providing excellent information to us on the Norwegian delicacies while at the same time effortlessly attending to just about everything happening in the area! And all this at a very competitive price for Norwegian standards!

Cons:

Our experience was overall great. One thing only to mention: the bathroom had a large window with a great view to the harbor, but no blind! Cruise ships moor virtually opposite the hotel which makes for a funny but also awkward situation if you want to have a shower...

Unverzichtbar bei einem Besuch in Stavanger
Pros:

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel in Stavanger, das durch echte Klasse glänzt. Auf Modernität wird zugunsten von Authentizität verzichtet. Sehr gutes Frühstück in sehr schönen Räumen. Man kann eigentlich nicht mehr verlangen.

Cons:

Bad etwas spartanisch, Kleiderkasten etwas klein im Standard Room. Alles kein Problem.

Завтрак, как провал всего отеля

Места расположение норм.

Мне не понравилось несколько моментов :

1 - главное это проблема с завтраком…. в 09:30 убрали со всех столиков на завтраке меню, а в 9:50 выключили свет… это что за цирк? Перетрудились ? Абсолютное возмущение… при этом в это время была полная посадка , то есть ни мы одни пришли в 9:30 на завтрак, все остальные тоже… в нормальных гостиницах вообще в птн-вскрс завтрак до 11 часов …

2 - с какого перепуга блокировать у меня на карте 1000 крон? Крайне не доволен, все гостиницы даже если делают преавторизацию то на 1 крон…

3 - маломальский договор с парковкой заключить сложно? Хоть 15/20% скидка обычно есть у гостиниц… я заплатил 620 крон за 2 ночи паркинга…
