El hotel es muy moderno, lindo, amplio y está muy bien ubicado. Es un hotel enorme, con mucho movimiento y tránsito de huéspedes. Personalmente, últimamente prefiero hoteles más pequeños o de estilo boutique, pero esto es simplemente una cuestión de gustos: para quienes disfrutan de hoteles grandes y con mucha actividad, puede ser una excelente opción.
Durante nuestra estadía había una obra en construcción justo enfrente del hotel, lo que le restaba un poco de atractivo al entorno. Nuestra habitación estaba en un piso bajo y daba hacia esa zona, por lo que la vista no era especialmente agradable. Imagino que desde los pisos superiores la experiencia y las vistas deben ser mucho mejores.
La habitación era muy linda, amplia, moderna, limpia y cómoda, y en ese aspecto no tenemos ninguna crítica.
El desayuno, por su parte, fue excelente. Muy completo, con gran variedad, productos de buena calidad y reposición permanente. La atención en el área de desayuno también fue muy buena. Como el hotel estaba prácticamente completo, habían organizado el desayuno por turnos y asignaban determinados horarios para evitar aglomeraciones. Nos pareció una excelente idea y una muestra de muy buena organización.
El punto claramente negativo de nuestra experiencia fue la atención en recepción. Si bien siempre fue correcta, nos resultó extremadamente fría, automatizada y con muy poca empatía, algo que contrastó bastante con la atención que recibimos en otros hoteles durante nuestro viaje por Europa. Al llegar a nuestra habitación descubrimos que había una cama matrimonial, cuando habíamos bookeado específicamente dos camas individuales, además de la cama para nuestra hija, y habíamos recibido previamente confirmación de esta solicitud. Al bajar a recepción para plantear el problema, la respuesta fue simplemente que el hotel estaba completo y que solicitar camas separadas no garantizaba que fueran a proporcionarlas. Cuando expliqué que habíamos realizado la reserva con muchos meses de anticipación, la respuesta fue que muchos otros huéspedes también reservaban con meses de anticipación y que, por lo tanto, estábamos todos en la misma situación. Más allá de que no hubiera posibilidad de cambiar la habitación, que puedo comprender perfectamente si el hotel estaba completo, la forma de responder nos pareció poco empática y nada orientada a intentar que el huésped se sintiera comprendido. En resumen, es un hotel moderno, limpio, cómodo, muy bien ubicado y con un desayuno excelente. Sin embargo, para nosotros la calidez y la atención del personal son una parte importante de la experiencia de un hotel, y en este caso la atención en recepción nos dejó un sabor bastante amargo.
Por ese motivo, y aunque reconozco las muchas cualidades del hotel, probablemente elegiría otra opción si volviera a Oslo.
Conveniently located near central station.
My specific room was right next to the lift shaft so had the noise of the elevators whizzing by all night, I’m sure a room not adjacent to the lift shaft would have been fine.

As a solo female traveler I had some unpleasant interactions with the male waiters in the terrace.

Die Lage ist super. Das Personal ist freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und reichhaltig.
Der Fitnessraum ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Er ist sehr schmal, so dass man fast nur an den Geräten trainieren kann und kaum freies Training. Durch die Lage direkt unter dem Dach war es zwischenzeitlich super warm.
Very comfortable huge hotel. Close to the central train station and to many Oslo's attractions.
Use of spa facilities were good
Staff at the front desk gave a person not staying in my room a key at 3am without any consent from myself or anybody staying in my room.
Location is really good and close to shops restaurants and the station
Swimming pool is really small compared to the number of guests in the hotel and the water was cold so unfortunately my toddler didn’t get to swim. The room floors were also slippery
