I chose the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park specifically because I drive a tall van and called ahead to confirm they could accommodate an oversized vehicle. I was explicitly promised they had space. After working a long day, I just wanted to get into my room to sleep before getting up at 4am again and I arrived to a lot packed with local event-goers. The staff told me there was nowhere to park and to wait until 10 PM. I had to aggressively hawk the lot and fight security just to get a space. it took more than an hour. I had paid for parking and a room and was receiving neither.
Corporate acknowledged and made promises but then never followed through and the property manager only offered 3,000 points not even covering the parking cost. Pushing staying guests out for event revenue is terrible hospitality. This was my final stay with Marriott Bonvoy.
The location was beautiful. The facilities were spotless, staff friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable- I was sad I only was there for one night. I was very impressed by the special area for breakfast room on the 16th floor- VERY NICE perk for members!
nothing!
The property was beautiful and the guest services were amazing.
The heat doesn’t work in the rooms. I thought it was just my room but my family that was there for a wedding also didn’t work.
Don’t honor reservations. Older hotel, slow to upgrade. Middle of nowhere…need car or uber to find way to decent restaurants/shopping.
Everything! And the beautiful scenery outside!
Location
Changes. Lobby is a zoo. Miss the old dining room.
Room was nice
You nickle-and-dime us at every opportunity. Charging guests for Internet in 2026? And for parking when guests have no other opportunity but to drive (and you didn't even warn us)? No breakfast? I tried calling in the morning to ask about the bill and have yet to hear back, 12 hours later.
The attention to customer (us ) and staff disposition for help
