Fantastische overnachting op Vancouver Island
Pros:

We hadden een heel grote kamer met schitterend uitzicht op het water. We hebben ‘s nachts de gordijnen opengelaten om niks te hoeven missen. Er was koffie, er was een koelkast. En we hebben een uurtje gesport in de fitnessruimte. Parkeren kon prima in de parkeergarage.

Cons:

Niks op aan te merken.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Warm, welcoming staff and helpful. Great size room and bed, very comfortable. We only stayed 1 night. Car parking underground was good. You can park outside first to check in, small check in bay, and that way you collect your key card to enable you to park underground and use the key card to come back into the rear of the hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast, the kitchen couldn’t open due to their computer system being down. We had to find an alternative in the town and at 6.30 am nothing else was open.

Great staff, location n everything you need from a hotel.
Pros:

We loved the location overlooking the stunning harbour. We arrived early hoping to store our bags but they gave entry to our room hours early without hesitation. The hotel was central with all amenities close by including a very cool cafe called the Vault. We had drinks at the bar with recommendations by the staff. They put the World Cup games on. We could walk to the foreshore to catch the ferry to Newcastle Island to go a three hour hike.

Cons:

No bad parts honestly.

Nice hotel, great location
Pros:

Nice hotel, clean. Friendly staff. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, waterfront. Quiet room. Beautiful view of the harbour.

Cons:

Parking while checking in was a challenge. Water refill was just small jugs in the lobby, would be nice if there was a filtered tap. None of the soaps etc are local, or even Canadian, despite extensive marketing boasting a love for local.

This hotel is as advertised and is good dollar value.
Pros:

The room was large, renovated, bright and light and very clean. The hotel has an excellent location. It is close to the ferry terminal, on the water and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We also appreciated the reasonable
fee for parking.

Cons:

The directions to the parking were vague. We went around the lot twice before finding the entrance. There was also very limited parking. Our arrival time coincided with the nite market which impacted parking.

A great place to stay in the center of town. It’s an easy walk to restaurants, bars, parks, and shopping.
Pros:

The Coast Bastion is located in downtown Nanaimo next to the harbor with amazing views and walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and parks.

Cons:

One of the elevators was broke during our stay, so that made it inconvenient as the wait was longer than normal.

Pros:

Sehr herzlicher Empfang am Checkin, innen komplett renoviert, große Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht und fantastischem Sonnenuntergang, -aufgang. Direkt an der Uferpromenade gelegen.
