Great location, very convenient to get to the station, ferry and city. Good facilities, comfortable room and very friendly staff.
Part of the building was under repairs so was noisy early morning.
First of all, hotel location is unbeatable. On a quiet side street across from the main train station, it faces the park (hence the name), and allows one to reach in a few minutes both the trains and lake boat piers.
With a 4 night long stay in Luzern, we truly appreciated our beautiful bright room. Thank you, Natalie! The room was clean, sunny, perfectly air-conditioned and very comfortable. It had the fridge for fresh berries and fruit we kept buying.
Reception people were friendly, helpful and provided both maps and transit info for trips to Mount Rigi and Pilatus.
We did not use hotel breakfast, but I’d like to recommend nearby vegetarian oasis buffet Tibits (on the train station) and, especially, having lunch at the Manora cafeteria on the top floor of the Manor department store (across the Reuss river, 10-15 min walk from the hotel).
Hotel price was quite high. However, it is hardly surprising with Luzern being the top Swiss destination, especially in peak summer season.

We were arriving late and very tired however his face was not happy when he saw us and he took long time for registration kept me standing

Pillows were totally flat which is quite uncomfortable when it's only one pillow per guest
The location is one of this hotel's biggest strengths. It's just a 5-minute walk from both the train station and boat terminal, about a 10-minute walk to the charming Old Town, and there's a Migros grocery store just down the street.
Our room was a comfortable size with a well-designed layout that made good use of the space. We didn't eat at the hotel because there were so many excellent restaurants and cafés within a few minutes' walk.
Overall, this was a fantastic base for exploring the area. Its central location made it easy to return to the hotel for a quick rest after a full day of sightseeing before heading back out for dinner in the evening.
When we checked into the hotel, we were told that there had been a fire next door about 2 weeks before our stay. Our room was on the second floor, and the hallway still had a fairly strong odor of smoke. Fortunately, our room had no lingering smoke smell at all and was perfectly comfortable.
Regularly stay here for business purposes.

Whilst most the team members are great my visit was left with a real sour taste after an experience with one of the restaurant staff.
He was very rude to myself and colleague and unfortunately for him when he then made comments to another guest about us he didn’t realise that whilst I am English I do also speak German!
When challenged we received no apology.

Frühstück beim ersten Mal sehr lecker, besonders das frische Brot. Aber jeden Tag gleiche Wurst und Käse, teilweise Reste vom letzten Tag war dann nicht mehr der Hit. Der Service war sehr toll und hilfsbereit, auch beim Transport unseres Gepäcks.
