ארוחת בוקר מצוינת, המיקום טוב, צוות שמח לעזור
We had a mixed experience with our stay. While the hotel is advertised as 5-star, unfortunately the room itself didn’t feel like a 5-star experience. The furniture and decor felt very dated, there was no full-length mirror, only one bathrobe was provided despite the room being booked for two people, and the TV was positioned facing away from the bed. The air conditioning was also poor as it was located at the opposite end of the room than the bed, which wasn’t ideal for a London heatwave. Also please be aware the hotel is at least a 10 minute walk from any public transport if that’s something you need.
The staff were generally friendly and pleasant. However, we had an issue at check-in and were essentially told that we needed to contact the booking agent ourselves to resolve it. We were left to deal with the situation on our own, which wasn’t the level of service we expected. We’re still not entirely sure whether the issue was the hotel’s or the booking agent’s fault, but we felt the hotel could have done more to assist us at the time as it was really stressful.
There were also some disappointing issues with the food. At dinner, we found a large hair in one of our meals, which understandably put us off. Breakfast was generally fine, although on one morning we were told that they had already run out of one of the breakfast items by around 9am.
Overall, the staff were friendly (particular recognition to the front door staff and restaurant waiters), but the combination of the dated room, lack of attention to detail, food issue and the handling of our check-in problem meant that the experience fell short of what we would expect from a 5-star hotel. Personally we wouldn’t recommend the hotel and wouldn’t return.
Popped into the Marylebone hotel and was greeted by Johnny the Doorman, who remembered me from last year (so lovely)
We had 2 drinks in the cocktail bar, which really helped cool us down.
A real oasis in London
beautifully decorated.
Good location
Small room for the price and location - lift was audible.
Excellent food. Small room- even for a European hotel. Great location.
Room size.
Service was efficient and highly professional. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location.
We had a small nightly incident with a food service call which ee did not order. Incident was resolved quickly to our satisfaction.
Beata and Tareq were wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay at The Marylebone Hotel very much. The staff were very warm and helpful. We received a lovely welcome from the Irish doorman. Adrian was very helpful with restaurant reservations and Beata was wonderful in 108. The room was very comfortable and housekeeping did a great job. The cocktail bar is lovely and they make great cocktails. The hotel is in a great location.
Thanks to Beata, who made the breakfast so enjoyable
We went here for some refreshments after wandering around London sightseeing
The Marylebone Hotel continues to be our home away from home whenever we're in London. We come back time and time again because the service is truly exceptional, and every stay feels just as welcoming as the last.
A special thank you to Adrian, whose concierge service is second to none. He always goes above and beyond to help with restaurant bookings, recommendations, and making sure every detail of our stay is taken care of. It's that personal touch that keeps us coming back.
One of the best parts of staying here is seeing the familiar faces of the staff each visit. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see us—it truly feels like coming back to family. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. We can't wait to return!
The Marylebone Hotel truly feels like my home away from home. I’ve stayed here more times than I can count, and it remains one of my favorite places in London. The hotel is beautifully designed, with stylish décor, comfortable rooms, and some of the most comfortable beds you'll find anywhere.
What really sets The Marylebone apart is the exceptional staff. Adrian, the concierge, is always incredibly helpful and consistently goes above and beyond to make every stay seamless and enjoyable. The doormen are wonderful, especially JoJo, who always greets guests with warmth and a smile. The breakfast and restaurant teams are equally welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive each morning.
The combination of thoughtful service, elegant surroundings, and genuine hospitality keeps me coming back year after year. I always look forward to returning to The Marylebone Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
The staff the room and the food
Nothing
It is always such a treat to stay at this hotel. It is perfectly located, and the staff are genuinely exceptional, always going the extra mile to make your stay even better.
I'm afraid I can't remember the wonderful doorman's name (he's from Ireland), but he is incredibly helpful, friendly, and always recognises you from previous visits which adds such a personal touch. The reception team greet you with genuine enthusiasm and interest.
For breakfast, the team are attentive, and the service is seamless and efficient. Beata is wonderful, and nothing is ever too much trouble for her.
The rooms are spotless and, while some of them are a little small , that's to be expected in central London. The hotel's overall atmosphere, charm, and exceptional service more than make up for it. Whether I'm travelling for business or leisure, The Marylebone is now the only hotel I choose to stay in. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
