The entire hotel was refurbished except for the bathroom. The water in the shower backed up.

Comfortable bed
Broken shower door, blood on the wall, hair on the bath towels, tile in the bathroom was sharp/uneven, and low water pressure.
Location was convenient and the room didn’t smell
Bathroom was cramped and floor tiles were loose, breakfast was lacking, no ice machine on my floor, stairwells looked like some started removing paint and then gave up without cleaning
The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having a small area to sit and the refrigerator was a plus. This felt like a secure location. We did ask for and receive 2 extra pillows.
The remote didn’t work for the TV, so I took it to the front desk and changed it out. The next one, the volume couldn’t be adjusted. I gave up. The telephone to phone the front desk was disconnected from the wall and there was no cord at all.
My room was a smoke free room and smelled of cigarette smoke and had holes of cigarette burns in the furniture. The pool was not clean or usable due to no maintenance on the water. Outside job with trash can and work not completed. Brand new facility not being maintained. Have pictures
I paid for pool access. It was not broken just not maintained.
This was the best hotel experiece I've had in Topeka. I felt safe and well taken care of. It can be a little scary traveling for work when your a single woman, so I appriciate that I was so comfortable here.
Breakfast was fine, but I wish there would have been a few more options. I had to change rooms due to a broken shower, but I was so thankful that there was another room available.
Room is spacious and clean..good variety of breakfast. They have free female pads and tampons in the lobby restroom, also has vending machine
No microwave in the room
Located right off 70 W. We like that they offer a small bar and cafe (with a limited selection). After a long day on the road it’s nice to have a drink and order some food from their small bar/cafe without getting back out on the road. Very clean. Super reasonable. Very nice personnel. It is located quite close to many restaurants, also. Would stay here again if we were in the area.
